I enjoyed the show tonight. Some great action, good character development, with a before and after kind of recap of the heist!

Ray Liotta is great as the head of the team. Man, does he have blue eyes I guess the storyline will follow that he wants out of the business, for the sake of the wife and kids, but I think the lure of the big score will keep him involved. Maybe when his wife gets off parole, she will want back in. I'm sure she knows what he's up to. Quite surprised to see that they lost one man already. But not sorry who it was.

Pretty cool to have another "home" on the side where he changes over from husband/dad to criminal. Love the safe with the digital code and the black car.......wooo!

You can tell there will be trouble between Annie and her old love who just got out of prison. That little 'meeting' in the airplane bathroom gave that away.

I like the way they wore fake tattoos and showed them so that it would be a false lead.

    Until next week.

I really enjoyed the show. You have to wonder if the wife 'knows' about her husband's side job? She must because she doesn't seem very fond of Charlie.

Have to say out of all of the new shows of the fall line up for this season, THIS is already my "must-see" show. After one episode I can't wait for the next one.

I loved the show last night too. Great characters! The surfer, did he shoot those two guys just because they kicked him off the beach? Yikes! Loved how he woke up in that girl's apartment and wore her robe around the kitchen. I also loved his meaningful glances at the ex-con who has hooked up with the girl (can't remember names, sorry!) - he just knows it is trouble.

Ray Liotta is one of my favorite actors. He was brilliant in Goodfellas, one of my all time favorite movies. He's great in this too. Loved how he stared down his "boss" when he tried to fire him. I too think the lure of the big score will keep him in the game.

I thought it was great the way they offered glimpses of the characters, that will be fleshed out later. Smith's wife, the interaction with the Dentist in her office suggests an affair or close to it, and who would have thought she was in NA and a parolee?

I wasn't too upset about the guy that didn't make it either. The show was well-written, hope it stays as good as it was for the first episode.

This show has a great deal of promise as long as they don't have them pull off a heist every episode.

I tried to like it, I really did, because I like Ray Liotta. But I can't invest in characters who are so cold blooded. For instance, blonde chick zapping the girl who recognized her from school, surfer guy shooting those two because they kicked him off the beach AND he kicked the one-night stand's cat off the bad and then to make matters worse he stole the poor thing! And why does the girl want the casino girl to find girls who look just like her?

I too think the wife had an affair with the dentist back when her husband was "traveling" a lot and she probably got lonely. But she definitely knows he's up to something. I'm thinking he doesn't even know about her being on parole. She seems to have her secrets too. She probably got busted during one of his trips.

I might give it another shot to see how it goes, but like I said, I have a hard time liking people who kill and harm just because someone ticks them off.

Just got done watching the Pilot. WOW! Virginia Madsen is just..wow. Brilliant. She takes what could very well be a hackneyed or throwaway role and totally owns the character. Ms. Madsen said more with her eyes and expressions than three pages of dialogue could convey.

Liotta was his usual excellent subdued self. He never overplays a role, he seems to be comfortable in his own skin, and he invests his characters with the same quality. I like the fact that he can flick his cold-blooded switch off and on. He ruthlessly burns Sean's body on the boat, then comes home and lovingly kisses his wife before staring at his sleeping son. You get the sense that he really, really does love his family, but he just can't step away from the action.

And, yeah, Hope definitely knows what Bobby is up to. She's an ex-con of some sort, and she's obviously good a keeping secrets, so I'm sure she can see right through her husband. At first I thought she suspected him of having an affair, but she knows it's something more sinister.

Loved Simon West as the sniper, and Johnny Lee Miller does a very convincing British accent as Tom. (It's funny that they have an Aussie, Simon West playing American Jeff and an American playing a Brit).
If there are any weak links in the cast it's definitely Franky G. and Amy Smart. They just seem a bit out of their league.

Good, slick show, I'll definitely watch next week.
