My Big Fat Greek Wedding on CBS

Nia Vardalos says "I do" to CBS for My Big Fat Greek Family, a sitcom based on her one-woman stage show and big-screen smash. The TV show follows the same batch of meddlesome characters (with actors Lainie Kazan, Andrea Martin and Michael Constantine among those reprising their roles) in the story of a Greek-American gal, her WASP-y fiancé and her big fat family, natch. Producers are trying to get John Corbett back as Vardalos' betrothed, but he is currently under contract for the FX network's new show Lucky. Wedding is slated as a midseason replacement.
