Scrubs

According to Zap2it, more of America watched Scrubs than Survivor, so there's bound to be one of you who saw the season premiere too!

I'm glad to see it's still the same show it was last season. There's way more Janitor than last season, and the opening credits, I'm not sure I like the change. I'm glad there's still no laugh track though. It drives me nuts that they add one in the commercial. Scrubs takes it for granted that it's fans are smart and will know what's funny and when to laugh.

I only saw bits and pieces because I forgot to tape it and was flipping between Scrubs and Survivor.

I didn't like the new opening. They slowed it down more and I wasn't cool with that.

Who was the singer in the beginning? It was driving me crazy. I recognized his voice, or at least I thought I did.

I taped it and just watched it about 2 hours ago. I didn't like the new opening song either (but I didn't like Ed's change after season 1, and it grew on me).

The singer through the episode was the lead singer for Men At Work, the old Australian band who sang "Who Can It Be Now?", and many other forgettable songs, including that one. I loved when Dr. Cox finally smashed the guy's guitar against the wall repeatedly.

But overall, they did a good job retaining the "feel" of the first season, and I think it's going to be a good sophomore season for one of my favorite comedies.

THANK YOU! I knew I knew who it was.

The main parts I caught were with Turk and JD. I think their friendship is one of the best parts of the show.

I loved the head-to-feet sleeping arrangement discussion.

JD: "I thought we were going to sleep head to feet?"
Turk: "You know, the naughty parts are still in the middle, either way."
JD: "Yeah, but when you're head-to-feet, it's impossible to lock up."

Usually I don't love shows from the beginning, but this one I do. Not a weak link in the cast.

And you have to love how Cox treats JD. Everytime he calls him Newbie it cracks me up.

Fluff, I hope you get it up there. It's hilarious, and is actually one of the funniest comedies on TV. No laugh tracks, and every single character is well-cast and acted.

We do get it here John, I've just never seen it.
The idea of no laugh track certainly appeals though.
