'24' picked up for third season

Fox made an early move, and picked up 24 for a third season. 24 is now the fifth highest-rated drama on television.

HOT DAMN!!!! wonder what the plot will be then, and does anyone know if Kiefer has straightened up his act?

I found this on the Net earlier today...FWIW...

    February 27, 2003 --
TWO of TV's biggest cult hits, "Alias" and "24" will both be back next fall.
ABC and Fox announced yesterday that the two shows will be returning,
although there had been some doubt about the fate of the spy thrillers which
havwe garnered some of TV's most passionate fans.
Fox entertainment president Gail Berman would not confirm that "24" star
Keifer Sutherland would return however, apparently to protect the secrecy of
what happens in the show's final episode later this year.

I was thinking if they had anouther season of 24 they should do something to really spice it up a bit. It would be kinda neat to tell the story in reverse maybe start at hour 24 and as the hours count back you will be shocked to find out who the villian is and what led up to it. Works well with some movies but dont know how it would play out for TV.

Hmmmmm, I was thinking the finale this season would be Jack Bauer dying to save the world, but not so sure anymore, unless Tony steps forward to be the star next season. Of course then he'd have to actually leave the office once in a while.

They should call it "24" but only shoot 20 episodes. Just to keep the audience on their toes.

Yes!!! This is seriously one of my favorite shows on TV. I haven't been this excited about a show since the early days of X-Files.

    Thank you, FOX!!!

This means there is still hope that FOX execs will hunt me down and pay me big bucks to be Keifers love interest

    Good news indeed!
