Miss USA and Miss Universe

i had no idea Miss usa is well underway. They had the preliminaries last week in Maryland and the finale is on Friday.
For the first time there is no clear favorite last previous year. Just like last year, the winner will be surprising again.

Anybody has favorite? Who do you think might win?

From what I hear, Miss South Carolina, Lacie Lybrand, is really making an impression in the preliminaries. I also hear Colorado and Alabam are doing well.

Why is this on "non-reality" shows? Is this a hint that the fix is in?

I look over the pics and well south carolina isn't bad. But we know huge favorite don't always win. I am impressed by Georgia though, well perhaps because i know her from American idol

i went back to the site and saw the preliminairies and i think South Carolina can win

No, it is not because I am from South Carolina. She did really well in preliminaries. Everyone else is saying the same thing. Alabama and Florida are also making a really good impression at prelims.

Back to South Carolina: She is wearing a white dress in the USA pageant, but I like her state dress better. It was baby blue and was just absolutley amazing. But, oh well. I guess the white one works too.

Just flipped this on and caught Lisa Wilson from AI4 making the top 5. She looks great and could win it all.

Update...Kentucky won, was by far the prettiest and was an obvious choice. Although, Ohio gave the best answer on the final question and finished fourth. California was second and Georgia third.

I'm sorry....I didn't even think when I was posting the pics of the Top 5 and who won that the West coast hadn't even seen the whole show yet! Forgive me if I spoiled it for anyone...definitely not my intention!
