She had more clothes on when pole dancing than most of the girls in the lingerie pics did so I don't see how they can hold it against her. Her family might have objections on religious grounds, but there's no way the pageant can object.

Whats so wrong with pole dancing??? Its very mainstream now, alot of people have one in their bedroom and its often used as a very good workout nowadays. If teeny bopper Miley Cyrus could get away with pole dancing on national tv, surely Miss USA can from past pictures...
what is up with tmz always digging up something about these girls when they win. these are teenagers for the most part or do things as teens. You don't really expect them to be perfect before entering a pageant where they parade in a swinsuit? i am not sure a mormon girl will ever enter a beauty pageant
Actually many Miss Utah's have been Mormon and have done quite well. I know some of them have choosen to wear one piece bathing suits, and I don't recall any drinking/drug problems, stripper poles or naughty pictures showing up. Not sure about the one this year because I do doubt a Mormon would do those lingerie pictures.Originally Posted by jacobson00;3909070;
you are right. i forgot to mention a time frame. Le't s say the last 10 yrs
i wonder what they will come up this time around as controversy for miss universe
When is the Miss Universe pageant?
It was tonight in Las Vegas. Miss Mexico won.
another year for miss usa again... not much controversy this year.
any favorites?
Glad to see the show again! We had controversy in our state, Miss WI USA was arrested for identity theft so the girl tonight took over just a few weeks ago. I love New York and Maryland, but some of my favorites didn't make it through the first cut - esp Illinois. California and Texas look good, but I can't believe Colorado didn't make it. New Mexico got the most votes? I thought with the 20/20 episode, CO would have gotten the sentimental vote.
