Everyone after her walked extremely slowly and took very small careful steps. Those floors must be really slick, because she certainly didn't trip -- her feet just slipped out from under her (and so dramatically).

    Top 5:

    Venezula (she's stunning!)
    Korea
    Brazil (she's also stunning!)
USA (bless her heart!..she seemed quite shocked she had made it in)
    Japan

    Damn...I wanted Angola in it!

Think we'll have a conspiracy that they put USA in as a sympathy choice?

Don't agree with Angola being left out and USA getting in. Smells fishy.

Dave Navarro's question was tacky, and he started it out by saying "Hi baby..."

I liked Ando's question "If you could have a superpower, what would it be". I was just waiting for the answer to be "World Peace" power.

Wow...Miss USA is getting booed by the audience for getting in over Mexico. That's pretty lame of the crowd, and it should have been Angola, not Mexico.

Ok...second time we've done that BBNBAMA. Jinx!!

Okay, my guess for the order of the final five-

Brazil wins, followed by Japan, Venezuela, USA, and Korea.

In the final question, the ones who don't speak English may have a disadvantage, as something of the spirit and flavor of the answer may inevitably be lost in the translation, and you are at the mercy of the skills of your interpreter. I think Brazil will win in spite of it, though, since four of the five are using interpreters this time. I do rememeber one pageant where I thought a contestant might have lost because of her bad interpreter.

They sure booed USA when she went to answer her final question!

I would pick Venezula as the winner....with Brazil, Japan, USA and then Korea.

Re: Miss USA and Miss Universe

I found the whole interpreter timing so distracting that I didn't even listen to the questions or answers. All I know is the superpower answer included something about having a bottomless wallet. The real answer was clearly lost in translation.

Miss Japan was the only one to say a sentence, let it be interpreted, and then say her next sentence. Was very smart. I think she can still pull this off, but it will be close with Brazil/Venezuela. With two asians in the final 5, I think my initial prediction for an Asian winner is very possible. I'm still mad about Angola.

If Venezuela or (better) Brazil do not win, then I quit watching pageants forever. No...seriously!

I would have gladly traded out Korea for Angola (no offense to any fans of Miss Korea)....

I agree that the translators were distracting....Miss Japan did it the right way...speak, let the translator relay, and speak again!
