Indeed people are watching! http://www.fansofrealitytv.com/forum...ad.php?t=52830

Perhaps a moderator could be kind enough to merge these two threads and hopefully that can help generate more discussion about this show.

I find it to be quite interesting. Nicki particularly, though I don't like her, her story is intriguing.

I have a friend who is related to the Lois Hendrickson character (Gracie Zabriskie), and I started taping the show for my friend & her family, (she does not have HBO) - but I am starting to get hooked on it, and am glad that I have started watching/recording it. I am finding it very funny. Gracie also appeared in the "Big Easy" and as the mom on "An Officer and a Gentlemen" - oh, and she recently was on the Medium in an episode.

I watch it every week, it's pretty good, although the last episode was a little boring, the whole thing with Bill and the son going hunting bored me.
But Bill Paxton has a great butt, and it's shown-nude-frequently, so that will keep me watchin' for sure.

I reallllly miss Six Feet Under, so this gave me at least another good show to get into along with The Soprano's.

How cool, Mike'sgirl. I loved Gracie Zabriskie in Twin Peaks and Seinfeld.

I haven't seen this show yet, but I saw this montage of clips of it on David Spade's show on Comedy Central. He was making fun of how many product placements were in an episode--specific mentions of brand names seemed gratuitous from their editing. Is it really that bad? Are they really dropping product names in every scene? The last show I watched on HBO was Rome, and, aside from a Roman Meal reference, it wasn't really the right show for mentioning an iPod.

Yeah. Because polygamists are such a desireable target to show enjoying your many fine products...

I hadn't noticed that at all. Now I'll be watching for that in the next episode.

The episode last night was good! I love how Barb said, I feel like we're having an affair! lol So I missed something I believe. At the end, did Nikki say she was ready to bring another soul into the family or that she was bringing another soul into the family? Is she pregnant or just said she wanted to be so Bill would pay more attention to her than Barb?

OMG I thought Last night's show was awesome. I was getting worried because the episode the week before was a quite boring, but last night made up for it. How HOT was Bill Paxton in that hotel scene? DAYUM!

The "affair" thing...does that mean Bill really likes the first/original wife the best, or did it mean that he goes through 'phases' where he sometimes prefers one over the other two?

The end confused me too, I had to rewind it to understand if Nikki said she was pregnant, or if she was just deciding she wanted to try for another baby, and after rewinding, I still wasn't sure. They were all congratualting her as if she were already pregnant, but, I don't think she is pregnant yet, because I remember seeing a clip of a future show where Nikki makes a request to Barb that she "have" Bill during her ovulation time..

I'm really liking this show.
