    Re: General Hospital

I know most people probably don't care, but it is sort of an obsession of mine & I did some research into the song All I Need & found this:

Just a bit more info on the song All I Need, the song was released in 1984, but it was so late in the year that it actually peaked in 1985 & became the 31st biggest song of that year. A fellow named Glen Ballard was one of three writers, he has a pretty impressive list of musical credits, just some of which include, performing on or producing:

Thriller & Bad & Dangerous- Michael Jackson
    Break Out – Pointer Sisters
Workin It Back – Teddy Pendergrast
Forever Your Girl & Shut Up & Dance – Paula Abdul
Wilson Phillips & Shadows & Light – Wilson Phillips
Jagged Little Pill & Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie – Alanis Morisette
    My Cherie – Sheena Easton
    Tambu – Toto
    Nine Lives – Aerosmith
Return To Saturn – No Doubt
    The One – Shakira
    Everyday – Dave Matthews Band
Stripped – Christine Aguilera (Co wrote The Voice Within)
Katy Perry & One Of The Boys– Katy Perry
Let Love In – Goo Goo Dolls
    Dark Road – Annie Lennox
In Your Dreams – Stevie Nicks
    Anthem – Ringo Starr
Plus many others including other stuff from Jack Wagner.

The second of the writers was a guy named Cliff Magness. He is an arranger & has worked with quite the list of artists including: (In Chronolical Order)

John Travolta, Ted Nugent , Patti Austin, Bonnie Pointer, Al Jareau, Phillip Bailey, Jack Wagner, Starship, Kenny Rogers, Jennifer Holiday, Barbra Streisand, Julio Iglesias, Quincy Jones, El Debarge, Jermaine Jackson, Celiene Dion, Laura Branninga, Wilson Phillips, Steve Perry, Sheena Easton, Wild Cherry, Hanson, James Ingram, Joe Bonamassa, Avril Lavigne, O-Town, Kelly Clarkson, Clay Aiken, Lisa Marie Pressley, Bo Bice, Steve Vai,

And the third member of the song writing crew was a guy named David Pack, perhaps best known as the lead guitar player & singer for the band Ambrosia, a group for which he wrote a ton of songs including all of their better known hits. But he is another producer of incredible renown. Albums produced by him include:

Kenny Loggins – Return To Pooh Corner
The Songs Of West Side Story
    Blue Obsession – Michael McDonald
Carry On & The Real Me– Patti Austin
    Wynonna – The Other Side
    Inner Motion – David Benoit
Vonda Shepard – The Radical Light

    And Movie Soundtracks for

Beaches – White Nights – Arthur – Wildcats – Disney’s The Music Of Cinderella –

And he has played & toured with:
Fleetwood Mac, The Doobie Brothers, Michael McDonald, Barbra Streisand, Ray Charles, Beach Boys, Heart, The Alan Parsons Project, David Benoit, Patti Austin, Chet Atkins, Wynonna Judd, Kenny Loggins, Bela Fleck, BeBe Winans, Billy Joel, Elton John, Leonard Bernstein, Patti LaBelle, Andrae Crouch, Russ Freeman, Mark Knopfler, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Foreigner, Supertramp, U2, Eddie Van Halen, Natalie Cole, Bruce Hornsby, The Everly Brothers, Emmylou Harris, Chic Corea, Toto and Huey Lewis & the News.

So, Mr. Wagner was in pretty good hands I’d say.

I hate to admit it, but I actually bought the album that song was on - just because I liked it so much!! It was definitely fun to watch him sing it last night. Add that to Maks' dancing and even though I thought the show was a bit cheesy, I totally enjoyed it!!

Oh, I have the Jack Wagner album too, much to my embarrassment now. He was a pretty big deal back then. The Nurses' Ball was always super cheesy. That was part of its charm!

I DVR'd some episodes during the marathon last weekend. I watched the BJ's heart episode today. That has to be the saddest, most heartbreaking thing ever aired on a TV show. ever

So what is Brit's announcement at the Nurse's Ball?

That Magic Milo number was hilarious! It was sexy, with just the right amount of comedy.

Of course Lucy ended up on stage in her undies again. Lynn Herring looks pretty darned good!

I'm still watching the episode, so I don't know for sure, but my guess is that Britt's announcement has something to do with Robin being alive.

    Re: General Hospital

I loved, loved, loved today's show. I was actually up dancing to Rick Springfield, crying with Maxie, laughing at Spinelli, cheering for Mac, lusting for Maks and adoring Emma. I was happy to see Anna back with Duke even though up until today, I did not care. Of course, it was inevitable that Lucy got down to her skivvies. I think I'm going to have to watch it again.

I have a wild guess for Britt, that she's going to announce she's pregnant.

Nah, that can't be correct cuz her mom said it was going to be something to remind Patrick of his real or first family? My CRS disease is acting up again.

Guess #1: Robin is alive. Although that would be tough without implicating herself or exposing her parentage.

Guess #2: She's pregnant from the shower sex.

Guess #3: Sabrina is somehow closely related to Patrick.
