Why are we spinning our wheels now? Yesterday seemed like a rehash of everything with no forward movement... I missed Monday, but it doesn't appear that anything earth-shattering happened based on yesterday's show. I had high hopes when I saw Starr crying and Michael asked what was wrong and she started talking about Tea's baby...
    Count your blessings!

Well, it's not much, but yesterday we saw that Starr does have a good close-up detailed photo of the baby on her cell phone --- so even though their storylines really don't mix, somehow Sam will get to see that photo and scream "That's MY baby!!!"

I can see Starr being introduced to Sam by Michael and them bonding over both having lost their children.

    Re: General Hospital

I've been out of TV land for a couple of weeks now...why is that Tea suspects something is wrong?

And I agree, having her and the baby bond for 5 months would be too cruel for both her and the baby. Plus I would think it would keep Tea on screen and on paycheck... I wonder if they will resolve the Victor story (that he isn't really dead, just held prisoner) on GH, which would kind of free up Tea...

They are really making the Mob Daughter producer guy out to be icky...please tell me all this hostility is NOT the prelude to him and Starr falling into bed. Michael is SO much more appealing a person. I liked Todd's "French" analysis of him. Maybe the producer/grad student dude is just trying to soften her up for a Press Lord's Daughter show (pardon the OLTL pun!). Certainly if they hook up and Anna and Luke hook up there seems to be a theme about roommates hooking up going on in Port C.

Heather is clearly going back to the nuthouse sometime soon....too many balls in the air. Some are bound to fall on her head.

But then would Starr say, hey, I know what will make you feel better, looking at someone else's newborn baby who did NOT die!?

Also...have to say, one baby picture of a newborn is much like another other than the amount of hair present...even race differences in skin tone are not that different, at first, often, and all the parents here seem to Anglo or light skinned Hispanics, so not even that to go on. If you showed me 100 baby pics shortly after birth (where often the faces are still a little smushed from the birth process) I'm not sure I could identify my own, especially if I'd only seen him for a few minutes, and in Tea's case, in the dark.

Lord, I hope not I'm really starting to warm up to Starr and Michael For some weird reason, I like Starr much more in Port Chuck than I did in Llanview! And can I just say how fabulously Todd is fitting into PC? IMO, his is hands down the best cross over character (though I'm happy with them all). His chemistry with just about everyone on canvas is excellent! The scene with Spinelli and him today was great, it was funny as heck. I would love to see more of them. Todd and Carly have huge potential and chemistry (and that's coming from long time Todd/Blair fan), and any of the Todd/Sonny scenes...wow!! As for the annoying Trey (is that his name?), I'm just waiting to find out he is the baby boy that clearly didn't die after Connie left him in a drawer.....

Totally agree with you about Todd. And I definitely see an opening for him with Carly as clearly Johnny is going to flip out sometime soon...and Carly will realize that he kept lying to her even though supposedly all their secrets were out. And I also agree, I say this even though I am a fan of Todd/Blair back to the early days.
I've read that Roger H. is not crazy about playing a rapist who has been glamorized, even though they've done a lot of back story to, post hoc, explain how he came to that action, and I note that they brought that up again when talking about his past on Friday....possibly at his insistence. He doesn't want that to be forgotten. So that's one reason he disappeared from playing Todd all those years. Hoping he's willing to keep on doing Todd though---he is such a strong actor he strikes sparks with everyone. And Port C. does give him a new canvas (and newspaper) to spread out in/on.

I also like Starr better here...except in the stupid scenes with Trey. Really Michael looked disbelieving at all the to and fro with Starr and Trey...it was almost as if the actor couldn't believe what a bad scene he was seeing... as well as the character.

    Re: General Hospital

Congrats to Tony Geary on his 7th Daytime Emmy as Lead Actor! GH also won best drama and Jonathan Jason and Nancy Lee Grahn won in the supporting categories.

Why did everyone keep referrring to Maurice Benard as Maurice BeRnard? Did he change his name? It was even printed onscreen when the Best Actor category was announced. I think he's probably used to his name being mis-pronounced, but on the Daytime Emmys?

I wonder if Jonathan Jackson feels to bad about the direction his character went now that he won an Emmy for it. He left because he thought the role had gotten too dark. I was rooting for Jason Thompson to win. He did such good work after Robin's death.

And, to be shallow, Tony G. is totally credible as a guy two with it women (and one loon) would be fighting over!

    Thanks for the Emmy update.

I heard Kirsten Storms is in talks of possibly returning to General Hospital!!!

If she comes back, I will definitely watch! I really hope she does! Jen Lilley is a fine young actress, but Kirsten Storm is Maxie as far as I'm concerned.
