I think there is something wrong with Alexis's daughter. (Not the youngest one.) Seems like she got cold all of the sudden.

At least this storyline is giving more actors screen time. They get so focused on certain characters that everyone else gets pushed to the back burner. I like Brenda, but I don't want this to become the Brenda Show any more than I want it to be Mafia Hospital.
LOL Yeah, right now it's the Carly and Mafia Show.

By the way, I think that Olivia might be in danger of dying --- her character doesn't have anywhere interesting to go, really. She's done pretty much all of the storylines -- the Kate's-bad-cousin-who-knows-her-secret storyline, the who-is-Dante's-father storyline, the Sonny's-first-love-mother-of-his-child storyline, and the older-woman-younger-man-romance-with-Johnny-storyline. The writers seem to be testing whether there's any chemistry between Olivia and Steve --- they're very sweet together but I don't see any chemistry, although I don't see any chemistry between Alexis and Mac either, and I have a feeling they'll end up together.

    Re: General Hospital

Watching Michael and Candy embrace at the end of yesterday's episode got me to thinking about Carly -- as the mom of a son who's dating. First, she is going to be the nightmare of all nightmares in regard to any girl who dares take up with her precious son! No girl is going to be good enough for her Michael, especially not some stripper! But Carly better think twice, because I don't think there would be too many parents who would be thrilled about their daughter having a romance with the ex-convict -- step-mother killer -- brain damaged - son of an infamous mob boss! All that aside, watching Michael and Candy embracing I did think that they had some real chemistry. I think their relationship has just turned a corner, and I'm looking forward to seeing what happens. (And maybe Carly's over-the-top reaction to it wil be enough to distract her from her vendetta against Dante.)

He's in league with Lisa. She asked him to seduce Robin. I was starting to like him too, Gut.

Abby uses the name Candy when she's stripping.

Yesterdays show was HUGE! So glad I tuned in... Olivia lives, Sonny going toe to toe with Theo, Theo's threatening hospital visit with Morgan--hinting at all sorts of possible doom and gloom, Carly's hissy fit over Abby, Sonny and Kristina's touching talk about death, Theo and Spinelli and Diane's germ phobia conversations(awesome!!!), Terrell being Lisa's *itch!

    Promising some good storylines!

Wow. This is a shocker of a casting change:
Rebecca Herbst has been fired from the show after being there since 1997. What this means for Nicholas, Lucky and Elizabeth, not to mention Jason and Jake, I have no idea. The article I read (which I won't link to, since the spoiler is in the link) didn't specify how she would be leaving, so we don't know if Elizabeth will be killed or will just leave town, but WOW. I'm totally shocked. She's been a fan favorite for years.

I can't help thinking that this is a HUGE mistake on the part of TPTB.

    Thanks for sharing that, Crit.

I'm really shocked and upset over it and can't understand what the reasoning could be. I think it's a huge mistake for the show and, on a personal level, I'm worried for Rebecca because one of my friends, who also watches GH, told me recently that she just had her third child. And Rebecca's husband, Michael Saucedo - who used to be on GH - isn't currently working as an actor, I don't think, although maybe he's in another field now. Wow, Just terrible for the show and poor Rebecca who has always seemed like such a sweetheart.
