| In Tony's dream where he lived another life, I kept wondering who the voice of his wife was since it wasn't Carmella's voice. It kept bothering me throughout the entire episode. I know one thing, that hole in his stomach was grossing me out. ![]() |

| The wife's voice was bugging me, too. I figured it must be somebody from the show, but it took me a while to figure out Tony's salesman dream was supposed to be some kind of parallel to his mob life. (I think. ) Also, someone please tell AJ to cut his hair. He looks positively creepy (loved Paulie's Van Helsing snark).

| I'm guessin his dream is his idea of what his life would have been like if he wasn't raised up in a mob lifestyle. But I can already tell that this Sopranos season is not going to be like the last few, since he will probably be in a coma for at least half the season. |

| I was riveted to last night's episode. I found it interesting, where in his dream/coma state as a salesman, the way he dressed, the way he talked, the way he carrried himself was so different. He was a sad-sack kind of guy. But as Tony Soprano, every pore of his being is power, and he exudes confidence (even when he's visiting his shrink.) James Gandolfini did a great job portraying that other version of himself as an ordinary Joe.

| Great episode! It was like Sopranos meets "No Exit"! Really beautiful the way they showed that eerie, beckoning, flickering light in the distance. All the little symbolic things, like the Buddhist monk slapping him. Tony becoming fearful only when he thought "they're looking for a perp" as the woman told him... Etc. The stomach wound WAS gross. This show seems dedicated since last season, to showing the real cost of violence. That hanging in the last episode was also VERY realistic. Usually in Tv/movies they cut away once the person drops. I thought the voice on the phone was Adrianna. An alternate life maybe? If he hadn't been born into the mob? Or is she haunting him and once he realises it he will freak out. |

| I listened really closely, and I don't think it was Annabella. She has a very distinctive voice, a very nasal twang. I assumed it would be her, since she's haunted Tony before... but, I don't think it was. The voice was very feminine and soft... maybe Charmaine, but my vote is Adrianna. |

My husband's guess was Adrianna as well. The phone voice had that nasally, New Joisey sound to it - heavier than Carmella's. Maybe next week we'll see the phone wife's face?

Nope, his wife is the one named Gaby Dante and she's also his real life wife too. I was kinda thinking it was Charmaine too considering we learned in a past season that Charmaine and Tony dated back in hs. | |
