| Problem is, AJ isn't a compelling enough character to centre an episode around. He's only interesting when he's interacting with Tony or Meadow, but to throw him in the middle of a bunch of unknown characters - his friends - is to throw him to the wolves. I was more interested in the dumb guy with the reading disability. Loved the bada-bing between Julianna M. and Tony, though. It came off very sensual, and, well, hot. I've never watched ER in my life, so I have no preconceived notion of her, but I thought she did a fabulous job. Bring her back!

| Hey, if AJ hadn't choked with his attempt to avenge his dad and had to go on the lam he might have run into Vito. ![]() |

| Speaking of Vito... he's baaaaack, next week it looks like he gets into a fight with Morgan Spurlock, er Johnny Cakes again. I sure hope things pick up soon... now we're hearing about Paulie's prostate trouble. Do we really need to know?? Next we'll have Meadow whining about how she's not feeling quite so fresh. I just wanna see some gangsters, thank you very much. (Though I did enjoy the first few 'navel-gazing' episodes this season.) |

| Too much soap-opera again last night, but I am more and more convinced Adrianna is still alive. (It's been my pet theory since we never did see her dead body, and I'm not giving up on it. )

| David Chase has said in an article that Adriana is dead. He even said it three times in a row including spelling it in big letters. Hee. ![]() After the last episode it seems highly unlikely they'd risk her ever going loose to tell on them again. Tony was no pun intended, dead serious about stopping her. Silvio is not the type to miss, I'm afraid, either. Do you think someone will 'find' her later on Carmela's property? Isn't that where it took place?? Maybe Chase felt her character was too beloved to show 'afterward', it would be too great a shock and lose viewers? I'm happy we finally got to see how Christopher told Tony, though. Way to stick up for your sweetheart, Christophuh ![]() |

| Brandy, I was attending to one of my kiddies and missed that part...just caught a quick glimpse of Chrissy crying (not a pretty sight). What was said? I've been dying to know!

| Oh! Well Chris goes to Tony's house crying. Tony (in his robe) takes Chris into the basement to talk. He says take his time and spit it out. Chris can barely talk. He stammers out, "Adriana..." and when he says "...the Feds" Tony perks up his ears. Tony gets a bit angry, asks how much Ade knows; Chris blubbers that he doesn't know. Tony rips open Chris' shirt and jacket to see if he's wearing a wire. Chris blusters even harder and says "How can you even THINK that?". Nothing concrete is said, (oh yes, Tony did ask "how long" and Chris said "I don't know") but Chris understands what must be done, I guess. He does not even try to defend Adriana at ALL. He just says "I can't do it, T. I can't, I can't, I can't!" Tony (with that "kindly" facial expression he has sometimes) pats Chris on the shoulder (maybe relieved he doesn't have to talk Chris into what must happen?), and says "Don't worry about it. I will take care of it." (Etc.) Then I think he says for Chris to go somewhere and wait for Tony's call. Then it (the show) goes back to Tony and Chris sitting on the curbside in the present day, and they both tell the other "I love you". It was kind of weird. Bonding through murder?! Then again they're gangsters. I'm not gonna understand 'em. Lol. Hope that helps. I might watch it again so I can try to tell you more, if not. I could not remember word for word but that's pretty much all. The talk happened in Tony's basement. It did not show Tony calling Silvio or anything like that. |

Why was Christopher's (supposedly PREGNANT) new wife drinking wine at the dinner table?? WTF?

I used to work for an OB/GYN. Her position on drinking was: It's ok to have a glass of wine with dinner. ONE glass. But because there are so many idiots in the world, they tell people NO drinking because the idiots out there can't stop at one glass and then it IS bad for the baby. My OB doctor told me I could have 1 beer or one glass of wine a couple times a week and it wouldn't hurt anything. My daughter is now 15 and is an honor roll student in advanced placement classes, so it didn't. Where fetal alcohol syndrome comes in is when the mother drinks a LOT, hence the dr. just telling everyone that NO drinking is permitted. Back when my mother was pregnant with me, she drank and smoked. Yes, we all know both are bad now, but I'm sure there are plenty on this site that had mothers that did the same thing and they are ok for it. So not ALL drinking is bad for pregnancy. Besides the Italians consider wine a meal in itself!
