Hubby said he heard one of those tv clip shows (Best Week Ever maybe) say the Sopranos are now like "A bunch of old women". Hubby agreed!

I didn't mind it until this last episode - nothing happened! They should try to make up for Tony being flat on his back for three episodes, by having tons of things happen in this last one. But no, Vito ambles around antiquing. What the...?

I hope they pick up the pace and quick. Maybe they should've phased in more new, and young, characters. Wouldn't real mobsters have done that - to take care of the collections and more physical aspects of it? Tony's crew seems awfully small in number.

It was interesting to see some of the "crew" in more detail while Tony was laid up in the hospital, but, now that things are 'business as usual' it seems the story lines are played out. It's still one of the better shows on Tv (especially now that most shows are 2/3 commercials) but maybe Best Week Ever's assessment was accurate.

I keep waiting for Tony and co. to kvetch about corns while sampling bridge mix and playing Mah Jongg. "The kids never call any more". While they talk sample sales and pound cake recipes. Come on - they're mobsters! Let them mob.

Last night didn't really do much for me, but I do think it was setting up quite a bit. We've now confirmed that Christpher is off the wagon. Vinnie DelPino (sorry, I'll never know him by any name other than his Doogie Howser name) has put the spotlight on himself as someone that Tony is watching closely as a problem child. You've got a lot of people who Tony used to count on (well, as much as he can count on anyone) who are losing his trust quickly.

The show is plodding along... bleh.

The last two shows can summarized:

Last week,
Vito escapes to a Bed and Breakfast after being "outed"
People get mad.

This week:
Michael goes to Hollywood and steals Lauren Bacall's gift basket.
The restaurant owner gets mad cuz his business is doing poorly.

More stuff used to to be packed into one show than now. All this seems to be "B" stories leading to confrontations 3 shows later. Doh.
I just didn't care about the guy they wacked. Nor about the terrorist guys. Nor about the movie aspirations. I don't have enough investment in those "B" stories.

Best line:
"Yeah, I hear he can track them by the corn in their sh*t. "
Tony: " Yeah, I saw them do that on CSI."

I was bored last night as well...but I thought the best part was Lauren Bacall fighting Christopher for her gift basket. I had left the room and had just walked back in...I asked my husband, "Did Chris just punch Lauren Bacall?"

The whole episode was blah. I didn't "get" the whole Ben Kingsley thing - just filler if you ask me.

It was quite boring.

Depends on how you watch the show. Chase is setting things up. Almost looks like Tony will get nabbed at the end for credit card fraud, maybe the middle east guys are FBI undercover? Either Arnie or Bennie will get whacked, Chris is snorting again and not focusing on business so he could be the reason Tony gets pinched....Uncle Jr. is still out there as is Vito which gets whacked first and by whom? What about Phil? I could see someone knocking him off....and two italians heading back to italy with gifts proving they were in the states when Rusty got hit.....

I was bored to death--the only part that woke me up for a second was when Christoper was trying his damndest to get himself a trip to the 'luxury lounge', and then of course, when he ripped off Lauren Bacall's gift basket. The other 50 minutes of the show were PUNK.

I'd rather have episodes like the past few instead of those god awful coma/dream sequence ones. At least there is something happening.

I want Phil gone so I wouldn't mind him getting whacked by Vito. I agree that it's not over between Artie and Benny. Artie ends up getting served in his own restaurant as the main course? How about AJ making good on his threat and going after Junior? I see the two italians being called back at the end of the season but it may not be revealed who hired them and who the hit is on.
