Why would Vito kill himself? (I hope not, I like his character) hes a captain right? so why wouldn't he just have those 2 guys that saw him in the gay club wacked? To keep them from saying anything....

How does he have the whacked without explaining why they need to be? If he did kill himself, I think it would be due to the constant fear of being outed, and the misery of knowing he could never live the life he wanted to live. For totally different reasons, it's kind of like whats-his-name who hung himself when he didn't get the okay to move to Florida.

I don't think it was set up, I just think it was predictable. I knew as soon as I saw this new, young, buff driver guy, something was gonna happen with him, and he was most likely on for just one episode.

We don't know that Vito really shot himself. I was thinking the way Vito keeps torturing Finn, something was still gonna happen with that..

It reminds me of the Donnie Brasco days of the real mob when supposedly one of the captains had the boss whacked because he was gay. If it was anything else I'm sure Vito could have them whacked without any problems because you can't speak against a captain even when he's in the wrong when you're low in the organization. In this instance the homophobia trumps everything else and if they talk he's done.

Vito spoiler: [[Vito did not shoot himself. At least, not yet. I have seen spoiler photos from a yet to be aired episode in which he has a bad cut over one eye. I think he does take a beating from someone, obviously. Also, he's not the type. Instead I think he's 'hit the mattresses' or gone into hiding. While he's on the lam with nothing to lose I think he will get more and more unpredictable in his behavior. He may even turn sides to go to some other 'family' who knows. Or, just out (doing crimes) on his own. Finn's in greater danger now in my opinion, too. He has a jones for that kid. ]]

This might be a stupid question, but has there always been inklings that Vito was gay? Besides the obvious incidents of course. I'm only a watcher because of my boyfriend and sometimes it's just better not to ask him these questions.
