Sons & Daughters - ABC Primetime

Anyone else catch the previews to this show last night during the Superbowl?

I thought some of them were hilarious...looking forward to the premiere.

I didn't see last nights preview but I have seen some. It does look hilarious. The previews I've seen with the kids in them have absolutly cracked me up.

I'm watching it right now, and it's pretty cool. It's quirky and weird and creepy and funny.

I think I'l like it -- now the trick'll be to just stay awake on Tuesdays!!

ETA: The theme is Cheap Trick's song Surrender:

Mommy's all right, Daddy's all right
They just seem a little weird
    Surrender, surrender
    But don't give yourself away

Argh. Gotta disagree. This is agonizingly bad. These improvised jokes seem so barely grasped. I've been subject to improv comedy before, and it's often like this. Grasp for a line and say something a little silly to fill in the silence. It's also weird that one little girl with cat-eye glasses appears to be wittier at coming up with those lines than an entire adult cast.

I have to agree, now that a long, arduous sixteen minutes have elapsed.

I'm shutting the television off for the night now -- I'd rather listen to THE POMERANIANS snore.

Okay...it is getting worse...I think they showed all the good stuff in the preview and the rest is just really lame filler jokes.
Sitcoms just aint what they use to be. (by the way, i forgot to hit post up there - so it might appear that I'm a bit nuts. I am nuts - but my point is really that I am slow. )

Can't we just take the little cat eyed glasses girl, get her on a real show, and dump the rest of these losers? Except maybe for Max Gail, who I have a long standing affection for.

Agree Krom - the geeky little glasses girl should get a different show. She kind of reminds me of Sarah Jessica Parker when she was in Square Pegs.
