Did anyone happen to watch the two 9-11 special episodes A&E aired on the one-year anniversary? What'd y'all think of it if you did? I though it rocked man. Everyone on that show is amazing; they protrayed their emotions with such --- uh, "raw-ness." That's a good thing, by the way, heh.

You mean the two they showed as the season premiere? Yeah I watched them, those were great shows. Really kills me they weren't nominated for anything. Not even a golden globe.

I know, it just makes me sick inside. As you've said before, the people on these shows --- I've never seen talent such as this, EVER . I can't remember ever being so moved --- and so frequently --- by any other show I've watched. And that says a lot, considering I pick and choose my television shows with great care. *shrugs* Gargoyles and Sliders had their moments, but Third Watch is the very first series in which I have felt some sort of raw emotion --- be it euphoria, desperation, whatever --- every single show . It's pretty much a known fact that I'm a shtinker when it comes to character plights, but Third Watch --- I don't think an episode has gone by where I haven't either actually cried or gotten dang close to it. Even when Doc and Co. deliver a baby (Re: 9-11 Episode 2, in which Doc helps to deliver a baby from a mother involved in a car-wreck) my vision clouds slightly.

Black Out, I think Guardian. Ducky can give you the detailed story, but it was supposed to be the season premier episode of season 3, but after 9-11 the season got all screwed up, they needed to do something to address the impact 9-11 had on the firefighters and cops in NYC (which of course are the main characters of this show), and they didn't want to air Blackout because that had riots and looting, not the type of message they wanted to send about NYC residents so soon after 9-11, so it got moved to the end of the season instead, but some of the plot lines didn't make a whole lot of sense.
