Anyone severely creeped out by this season?

I don't like the side storylines. I don't like all the sex...it's too much. Anyway, I'm not sure I'll be watching too many more shows this season.

I turned over to Boston Legal about 20 minutes in. Tonight's show was almost like a porn movie, and I'm not loving the creepy storyline with Matt.

The show, to me, is all about shock value, but the episode with Mama, who was housebound due to her weight and taken to the hospital on a flatbed? It broke my heart - I cried my eyes out for her plight. Her genuine sweet nature vs. her situation and her recognition of her own role in her position just killed me. I am a normal 120 pound female, but the fact that she was a hermit and afraid to get off her own sofa just killed me, because there are really people like that out there.

Am I the only one that cried for her?

IMHO, on the surface, much of the content of tonight's ep may have seemed like a porn flick. After all, we were (initially) teased with the possibilities of not just (yet) another "threesome", but also a couple of "foursomes"
... Woo hoo...yeah, yeah... However, what I found interesting and compelling about this ep was how those particular sex scenes were played out, then, resolved:

1. Christian calling a halt to the "three-way", cum "four-way", stuff, as if he had an epiphany, after new business partner Costas & lady detective joined Christian & Kimber in the bedroom, Costas started getting turned on by Christian, and, in turn, made that, uh, "move" on Christian. Christian's reaction was, indeed, telling, and very consistent with the issues from the past that he's dealing with, i.e., the (apparent) sexual abuse that he has experienced. Essentially, he said the equivalent of "Hell to the naw!", and Costas and lady detective had to GO... He put their a**es out of there... This broke up THAT "threesome", cum "foursome".
2. Before then, there was that frat party scene of Sean with a college coed, doing their thing in her room, and, then, Costas and his young girl came in. When Sean caught Costas watching him and his girl, and noticed how Costas gave him the "eye", all turned on, and such, then Sean was outta there... ... Again, another "foursome" was squashed.

As I see it, Christian is, very much, out there, sexually. And, Sean has been "testing the waters", albeit reluctantly. But, on tonight's ep, they managed to bond (again) WRT their respective discoveries of the limits they each would go to/not exceed for sexual adventure, in that regard, i.e., actively engage in sexual activity with a man.
3. Towards the end of the ep, both Christian & Sean shared their respective observations/discoveries about Costas being bisexual in "water-cooler" conversation at work. Their dialogue/banter was very amusing, to me ...

Then, Costas came in, on the tail-end of their conversation, citing a (so-called) higher court decision (with a multi-million dollar award) about a bisexual woman whose activities became the subject of said conversations in her workplace. This guy wants to hold something over their heads ... IMHO, this new partner is bad news, for both Sean and Christian. I have a feeling that Costas wants to "move in for the 'kill'" and, ultimately, take over the Troy/McNamara business - by any means necessary.
4. I am not lovin' the creeped-out storyline with Matt, either. But, I am interested in how the writers/producer of this show will work with this character, and his problems, going forward. IMHO, it is sorely apparent that Matt needs professional, therapeutic help ASAP - preferably, with family therapy involved in the process. I'd just like to see how the PTB deal with it, in the storylines for Matt.

Ryan Murphy is SICK, plain crazy ...LOL! But, maybe, I am the same, because I have yet to grow tired of this show!

I missed last night what happened in Matt's story line, I figured the show would be nothing but a huge porn fest so I didn't watch.

I love this show and everything about it !!! Of course it's racy and the story lines are outrageous - but its supposed to be !!! That's what so awesome about the show to me, it's not just the same ole crap !!

I have a feeling that Costas may be the carver. Anyone else get that feeling?

I agree with you marciadale, I love this show because it is different.

I also think they may be done with the over the top sex antics....for awhile anyway.
I don't think Costas is the carver, I think it's someone young and may be a woman.
Was Costas even in the same city/state at the time of the carvings?
