The ending caught me by suprise. I didn't think that they would kill off Aisha's character - they seemed to have been expanding her role. I don't understand how she failed to realize that she was a ghost. Did she not notice that no-one other than Melinda could see her? Did she not notice that she didn't get hungry? Or that she could walk through walls?
That aivation guy accepted Melinda's abilities quicker than most people would have. I still think that it would be very difficult to believe. Even since she finds out things, you'd have to think that it was a trick. In this case, they would have to suspect that she was a terrorist, not able to talk to dead people (unless the aviation guy's favourite movie was the Sixth Sense). Did the pilot really make a mistake or did the dark force sabotage the airplane?
I agree with Mike'sgirl that I hope that season 2 is not going to be all about Melinda versus the powers of darkness. I do hope that we find out who he is, but I hope that they conclude this storyline early in the season.

William the guy from the NTSB asked her if she was registered with 2 other gov't agencies I don't recall at the moment - I think he's familiar with Melinda's abilities because he's worked with others like her in the past, that's why he was so accepting.
It's hard to say if the dark forces were behind the air valve or plain old human error.
I'm not liking this storyline at all... I like the shows that are a one-off with a happy ending.
Hubby and I knew as soon as Andrea walked back into the shop and Melinda looked so pained that Andrea was a ghost.
(we also figured out Sixth Sense about 1/3 the way through.. in the movie theater... we were not popular)

I too was shocked that Andrea was a ghost! Totally did not see that coming!
I again, missed the first 20 minutes of the show, but caught up to it when JLHewitts hubby asked if she told Andrea yet. I was still thinking, told her that her brother was dead!
The look on Andreas face at the very end when she realized/was told she was dead! Wow! Did not see that at all!

On a side note, I hate season finales....what am I suppose to watch all summer! Lol....

I just took the time to read the past comments and I don't think that Andrea is dead. I did not get that feeling. She is still part of the cast according to the website so if she is dead maybe she stays on to help Melinda. Also the DVD will be avaliable on October 31st....how fitting...

Camryn Manheim joins the cast - I think I read in EW that she will be [[a new best friend.]] Not sure what that means for Aisha, but I really loved her in the show. Not thrilled about Camryn, but will try and keep an open mind.

last night's episode was a lot creepier than last season - I'm not a big fan of creepy However, it finally put to rest that Andrea is dead and crossed over.

Now, she'll have this annoying stalker ghost - I wonder if that will last all season. I liked how each episode was all-inclusive and now they seem to run over from episode to episode - we'll see.

My husband will continue to watch with me so he can see Jennifer in her lingerie

I didn't really like how the end of the episode set up the next one. I hope that they are not going to do that all the time. And I am already tired of that stalker ghost and even more tired of that professor. He just doesn't seem to have the right tone for the show.
It's interesting that Melinda wakes up from a nightmare and she is still all glamorous.
