this show is getting so stale.
and I'm tired of Reid always looking so shabby.

Count me in too. I really thought she was going to make it. I was not expecting that endingAt least Reid got to tell her he loved her. When he said "I don't love you anymore. Do you understand?" he was telling her he had loved her in the past (and of course he obviously still did). And Maeve clearly understood what he meant. It was sweet how those two misfits fit together so perfectly. I thought that was one of the best episodes in a long time.

Is she REALLY dead?
I know they showed her laying there on the floor and there's blood everywhere, but they never really said she was DEAD. Guess I'm still hoping for a come back.

I never dreamed that Maeve was going to die. Even after the shot I kept waiting for her to get up.
Or, I hoped Maeve would go into Parker mode (the part she played on Leverage) and escape.

They certainly didn't move into action to try to get her help. This is the synopsis for next week's episode as written by my tv provider:
As Reid deals with a personal loss, the rest of the team heads to San Francisco after victims are found in the Mission District.
That still doesn't CONFIRM that she's dead, but it sure makes it sound like she is.

I was extremely disappointed by the ending. I don't recall Reid ever having a positive personal storyline until this season with Maeve, although obviously it wasn't positive by the end. I honestly believed that she would live, since I figured Reid has had his fair share of problems, and I thought it would be his time to actually have something good happen to him, and have a relationship. I thought the fact that they couldn't meet face-to-face for so long would be enough of an obstacle, but apparently not. And I feel there have been similar situations to this one, such as with Hotch's ex-wife and Prentiss' "death". I'm not so sure I'm going to continue tuning in after this turn of events. I really have almost no interest in watching Reid deal with yet another negative thing in his life. Can you tell I'm a Reid fan?
Most recent episode aside, I feel that the show is getting stale and not what it used to be. For me that started in season 6 when they got rid of JJ and Prentiss and brought in Seaver. I feel like the show never totally regained its footing since JJ and Prentiss' return in season 7. I've generally enjoyed watching the show (particularly seasons 2-4) since I discovered it ~3 years ago, but it's time has come, and I honestly hope this season is its last.
And I agree with the Reid looking shabby comment. He needs a haircut.
