    Yes. In the first season, her first husband died from a heart attack while running. I can't recall the details, but maybe he didn't have insurance or something, but in order to keep the house and feed the kids, she started selling weed to make ends meet. I liked Nancy then. Since then, much has happened and IMO it's really a different show.

    Ace Medallion, you are so right about this show and Nip Tuck. Nip Tuck was a GREAT show before the doctors moved their pratice to CA. IT was downhill from there. THe only saving grace in the finale was when they played the Art Garfunkle song All I Know. That was good and gave me chills. Too bad the writers had to humiliate the cast for years before they put them out of their misery. LOL

    What's the status on that show? I think I watched the last season, but am not sure. It was the one that ended with the mother, baby and baby's daddy standing in front of the airport terminal with FBI holding them at gun point. The rest of the family was on a flight to Denmark or somewhere. Is there a new season coming up?

    yes, that was the last episode.

    The show has been renewed for a seventh season, and will premiere the first of 13 episodes on June 27, 2011

    I really hope they bring back the old charm to the show that it had the first few seasons. The last few have been painful to watch for the most part. They changed the mother's character so much that I stopped liking her at all. If they will get the baby out of her custody, then I may watch another season.

    Yea I was not fond of the roadtrip season either, liked the killer boy tho, they should build on that.

    He's big enough to take care of himself, and I do think he may be a sociopath, but I have grown to think his mom is too. LOL

    There is so much real neglect and exposing real babies to danger with drug people, that I just can't find humor in it on this fictional show. I just wish they would have left the baby thing out. They didn't need it IMO and now they don't know what to do with it. If she really cared for the baby, she would know it would be better living with anyone other than her and her clan. If that happens, maybe I can start laughing again.

    Very sad to see this show go the exact same path that Nip/Tuck did. What used to be a clever, edgy, and hilarious show is now just bizarre, ridiculous, and horribly over the top. Once upon a time Nancy and her family were actually likable......

    Yes. This is true. Now she's just really mean and hellbent on destruction. Maybe she can be rehabilitated, but if that were to happen, then what would happen to the show? Kind of like Breaking Bad on AMC. If he stops making meth, they won't have a show. LOL
