The Bones episode that was on this Friday was really a lot of fun, Brennan was a juror for a murder trial, very vintage Bones.

Oh crap I forgot it changed nights this past week. I need to write this stuff down because I was just channel surfing at that time too.

Due to the day change, I now have to watch this On Demand so I finally caught up last night. It was a cute episode. I sincerely doubt Brennan would ever be selected for jury duty but I enjoyed watching her spar with the judge, attorney and her fellow jurors. I really like the side plot with Angela helping Cam track down her identity thief. Now that they found her, I am quite curious to see how they're going to go after her.

I just wanted to give this show a little boost and praise. It's done a great job almost all the time of having its characters remain consistent and yet grow, it's got a married couple who are still interesting, in fact two, as you watch their relationships grow, it has interesting odd balls come in and out via the interns, interesting secondary regular characters, and interesting cases to work around. Tonight one character discoverd an unknown brother, and it made sense with only a little literary license...and further included a real issue, the payment for the care of the mentally ill brother by a formerly wealthy character. Yes, they've occasionally gone off the track with the supervillian, but less so than many of the other crime shows for the most part.
In fact the only issue I have right now is that the hero's son by his first marriage seems to have disappeared. Maybe I missed a show where he moved to the West Coast?

What I like about the show is that fact that there are two married couples and how they interact with each other. I like that that before you either had a romantic couple that either never did the deed for fear of losing the sexual chemistry or they were married. I like how some shows are taking the risk and showing the relationship from first glance to romance to marriage to working it through to even divorce or death.
