    Ah, I'd forgotten that...thought he was in on it and it was more a falling out among theives....that when things came apart he was the fall guy. Does anyone recall details?

    I think I remember, he thought he was being a legitamite truck driver?
    And the only dishonesty on his part is that he was lying to his wife because he was ashamed of being kicked out of the millitary?

    I got this from the Fox Prison Break website,

    After being dishonorably discharged from the United States Army, Miles returned home to learn that his war record was now a major blemish on his resume. Needing to provide for his wife and daughter, Miles secretly took a job transporting stolen goods and was apprehended by local police. Unwilling to cut a deal and give up the identities of his associates, Franklin was sentenced to Fox River.
