He said Locke needed a father figure. He might not be his father-just a conman. Kinda the speculation last year.

Being his real father makes sense though, why else would he seek him out for a kidney? Besides, father issues seem to be a common pattern with many of the survivors.... but JMO

Next flashback shows Locke leaving Helen's bed in the middle of the night. (Hubba hubba!) Then he gets a coffee and drives to Anthony Cooper's new house. Dear ol' Dad comes out and basically tells Locke to "F" off.

Down in the hatch, Desmond tries desperately to fix the computer. He tells Kate where the front door is and she goes to get Sayid to help. Desmond tells Jack his boat crashed on the island 3 years ago during his 'round the world race. Some dude named Kelvin brought him into the hatch and told him the computer counting down will save the world. Then Kelvin died. There's a film called "Orientation" that will explain it all.

Did ya'll see the book Locke pulled out of the bookcase when looking for the film? It was "The Turn of the Screw" by Henry James

I think its a behavior study experiment where no one is in danger, but the guinea pigs are being observed as to how they handle seclusion, stress and co-habitation.

Or else they are all gonna die !!!!!

In the orientation film, there was a scene that showed the bankroller of the project standing in an office - it kind of looked like Locke's father to me.
My first thought upon hearing the name "The Dharma Initiative" was "Where's Greg?" Oh, dear.
