    Concerning the season premiere:

    It will be Kate-centric, and, like the S2 premiere, not everything will be answered in the first episode (kind of like how the raft survivors weren't shown until the 2nd ep of S2).


    Concerning new people added to the cast:

    Henry Ian Cusick (Desmond) has been asked to be a regular for at least a year. No word on if he has actually accepted, but I think he's pretty much a sure-thing.

    Also, Elizabeth Mitchell will be added to the cast, possibly named Juliet, in her mid-30s. She might be the new love interest for Jack, which means that Kate's 'choice' won't be Jack.

    Rodrigo Santoro will also be joining the cast. No word on what his role will be yet.

    Chicken or the Egg?

    Lost fans have discussed the coincidental intersecting of the characters lives ad nauseum. Now comes a new show this fall by JJ Abrams called Six Degrees. Did all the interest and conjecture foster an idea or was it already festering in his head before Lost? To my knowledge, it was the only show on TV to use the Six Degrees of Separation theory as an ongoing plot device.
    Many of you will likely disagree, but I have to say the commercial doesn't pique my interest. It feels to me as if he is stealing from Lost to create a soap opera. Heck, I have a Bacon Number of four and I'm in flyover country.
