And shovels and cots for burying the dead.
    And plenty of Bolos.

Does anyone have a guess where that boat is from?
I'm thinking that's the boat that Micheal wanted from the others.

As mentioned earlier, the boat seems to be too nice to be from the Others and they're not going to keep up with their end of the bargain. Many people think this was Desmond's racing boat and believe that he will be on it when it comes ashore next week seeing as how next week is supposed to be Desmond Sentric and we are supposed to be getting more info about Libby through Desmond flashbacks.

I have a feeling its a boat with no one on it....

where did it come from you ask...

    one word: Walt.

Walt heard that his father wanted a boat and in return thought of it and gave it to him. That's what I think.

Someone on another board said they saw Cindy in the background at the Others' camp.

    Can anybody confirm this siting?

Well, if you had a really big plane, doing a transPacific flight with a multi-national set of passengers AND if the luggage didn't sink or get burned up, you really might have most of that stuff, or you could make it.

re the firestarting tho, as to who can make a fire from rubbing sticks or striking random rocks together, apparently nobody, judging from all these seasons of Survivor!
