Well ,she could be in the "middies" (we don't know what happened to the middle of the plane yet do we? Did the plane break in half or into more pieces?). It's a big island.

The plane broke in two. All survivors came from the fuselage and tail sections. Hmmm ... that would mean that Vincent the dog must've been in the luggage compartment and no other animals survived -- that we know of yet.

Looks like we're getting another Summary Episode, right before the return of Lost:

    Special Recap: Lost: Revelations
    Airdate: January 11, 2006 at 8 p.m.

Discover the complete story of the grueling first 48 days on the island for the fuselage survivors and tailies after the crash of Oceanic flight 815. Since the beginning, "Lost" has mystified and intrigued viewers with its interesting characters and unique style of storytelling. Season One dealt with the fuselage survivors, the hatch and a failed attempt to get off the island. Season Two continues these stories and also introduces viewers to the survivors of the tail section. "Lost: Revelation" puts these two seasons together in a linear fashion that provides an illuminating view on one compelling story. See the sequence of the aftermath of the failed raft attempt, the opening of the hatch, how the tail section and fuselage survivors lived separately and the unwitting intersections of their lives, and how both groups ultimately collided in one catastrophic moment. "Lost: Revelation" offers new and avid viewers a fresh perspective, comprehensive and enlightening, in one of television's most intriguing series. Source: ABC and SpoilerFix.com

Sounds pretty good. I know some people who just started watching Lost around ep 6 or so, so they have no clue what went on with the hatch at the start of this season.

I think it'll be fun to watch. Get a different perspective and catch things I missed the first time (or two).

Only the tail end broke away from the plane, and from what we know, Boone, Shannon, Charlie and the pilot survived from the front of the plane and all of the other first season survivors (that we have met) were in the middle. So I don't think there will be any more.

www.lost-media.com has up some promotional pics for the next two episodes, airing January 11th and January 18th.

some interesting/funny things about the pics:
for the Jan. 11th ep (Eko-centric), Sawyer finally gets a haircut.

For the Jan. 18th ep, it's Jack-centric (again), and the pics involve a rich Italian couple. Jack's dad also appears. Interesting note: Jack has his normal haircut, so this flashback must occur some time after his previous flashback, but I dont kniow if it occurs after his 3rd flashback or not (his wedding).

    about those pics

the jack-centric episode with the italian couple looks boring just by those pics alone. hopefully its more interesting. maybe we might find out what happened to his wedding.

'Lost' cast named entertainer of the year
Thursday December 22 3:46 PM ET

The cast of "Lost," ABC's hit drama of air crash survivors marooned on a mysterious island, have won one battle -- they beat a 40-year-old virgin and King Kong's girlfriend for the title of 'Entertainer of the Year."

Entertainment Weekly named what it called a group of "treasured islanders," the cast of "Lost," as its Entertainer of the Year, calling the show one of the "biggest cult breakouts since The X-Files."
