| I don't think it has been mentioned who would be the matron of honour. I'm fine with the wedding not being this season (if that is the case, I don't know). They haven't been engaged that long, nor, really, actually together that long. Some spoilers: [[ Lane moves back in with her mother. Undoubtedly this is after the fight she has with Zach who is upset that Brian wrote a song about Lane. Lane tells her mom that she's a grownup and she'll be listening to what she wants and doing what she wants. She's also involved in selling stuff at the store (not sure if this is a one-off. I don't think it is a future career move or anything). Rory moves to somewhere near Yale. It appears that the obnoxious Rory of last episode will continue a bit seeing as how she tries to, basically, browbeat a professor into lettig her into class. ![]() Rory and Logan break up. Sounding Friends-like, she thinks they are taking some time out whereas he sees it as him breaking up with her. He wants to get back together but Rory's not biting. Rory is in therapy - yeah, she probably needs it at this point. That's it. ]]

| like CCL mentioned, no maid of honour set yet. no anything set yet really. the only thing "set" is that they're engaged. they don't even have a date yet. me thinks, this is leading to something bad. but that's only my opinion. i know eventually they'll get married, but i'm starting to have doubts it will be this season at all. maybe not until the end of next. |

| [[ As much as the die-hard Twin Peaks fan in me loves every opportunity to see Sherilyn Fenn, this seems like a weird choice since she has already appeared on the show as Jess' father's new girlfriend. Anyway, it's not a big deal or anything, but if you're more than a casual viewer, you're bound to think about the "Here Comes the Son" episode when Sherilyn shows up. She was blonde and virtually unrecognizable in that episode, though. ]]

| geekthegirl [[ Yeah, it is a bit weird since Sherilyn Fenn has been on before. But it was only a really small role so I guess they figured it didn't matter. She does sort of resemble Lorelei (the whole dark hair, light eyes thing). I guess that's Luke's type. ]]

| Does anyone know if Jenna Elfman (married name) any relation to Lauren Graham? I know they were both in Townies...but they look SOOOOOO much alike! I am so glad that Rory and Lorelei have reconciled! I was so fed up with that storyline! I'm anxious to see what is going on with Christopher tonight! I think Logan's a cutie, but Rory shouldn't have been with him...I still like naked guy...what was his name? I wish those two would have gotten together, he was so smitten with her and she was too busy chasing Logan! |

| Rory and Marty... Oooh, I'd like that! He's such a sweetheart. Having said that, I'm rather, ahem, fond of Logan as well Rory's taste in men has definitely improved over the last couple of seasons. poutymouse, I've thought the same thing! There is an uncanny resemblance between Jenna Elfman and Lauren Graham. Something with the eyes and the smile, I think. Lauren is prettier, though.

| I don't really see a future with Marty, personally. I think the series will end with Rory alone and leaving Yale to face the world. Who knows though? Speaking of Rory, she was a right little snot last night. I know she's mad at Richard & Emily for interfering in her life, but they were trying to help, albeit (maybe) in a misguided manner (yeah, the visit from the minister was a bit much). She should show some gratitude for what Richard and Emily have done for her (given her a place to stay, given her a job & paid for Yale & Chilton not to mention loving her etc.) I hope now that Rory's back with her mom she doesn't remain estranged from R & E - I wouldn't like that. I would have picked the castle option since Christopher was offering. ![]()

| I agree that Rory (and Lorelei) are ingrates where the grandparents are concerned. Honor's phonecall was a bit of a blow. When did they become shopping buddies? Why didn't Luke's sister set him straight about telling L? That is going to be so predictable - him not telling her, her freaking when she finds out. Lane's boyfriend is an ass. (Can I say that here?) Writing all these songs about other girls and blowing their big chance when the other guy writes one about Lane (to prove there are other words that rhyme). The dog is still an enigma to me. Is he really that weird or is L. making it all up? The sugar on the toes was disgusting - getting it all over the floor. Suki was so hyper - what is with her? I did enjoy the misfit thanksgiving. Kurt doing Tai chi was the best part of the episode. I want that for my avatar.

| Poor conflicted Luke! I'm so glad he told his sister about April. I just wish he had let her get a word in, but I think he was afraid she would suggest something he wasn't ready to do. I wish he had told Lorelai, not at Thanksgiving dinner, but sooner. I think the fact that he didn't feel he could come to her will cause more problems than the issue itself. It's not like he got another woman pregnant *yesterday*. He messed around 12 years ago and got a kid. Big deal. She messed around 21 years ago and got a kid. It happens. Give her a chance to understand. Then he can begin the bonding process with his new daughter. What else... oh, HUGE overreaction from Sookie when Rory came to the inn. Really not necessary. Lane's boyfriend was being a classic "dog in the manger". He won't write a song about her, and won't let anyone else. Rory I'm liking less and less these days. The senior Gilmores may not always know how to handle situations, but it seems their hearts are in the right place. And yes, there have been strings attached to the tuition for Chilton and Yale, but look what the strings are: Have dinner with me once a week. Ohh the HORROR! Hundreds of thousands worth of tuition in exchange for a weekly meal and a few minutes of my company? I'd do it! |
