Miracles

From the official site at ABC.com

Quote:
Paul Callan is about to embark on the most amazing journey of his life.

As an investigator of modern miracles, Paul (Skeet Ulrich) finds the result is always the same: a mundane explanation and a crowd of disappointed believers. With his faith dwindling everyday, his only belief is "we're all alone down here."

Then something happens to change all that.

Paul's life is saved by Tommy Ferguson, a young boy with the power to heal. But Tommy pays for the miracle with his life. Just before Tommy dies — and Paul is given a second life — they both see the words "God Is Now Here" written in Paul's blood. And suddenly, nothing will ever be the same.

As Paul tries to understand what has happened to him, he joins forces with Alva Keel (Angus Macfadyen), a former Harvard professor and current investigator of the paranormal. Both men feel the other possesses the key to a larger mystery — the rapidly growing number of "strange occurrences" that happen all over the world and which may point to a frightening and deadly "large event" that is coming…

Now, with the help of former police officer Evelyn Santos (Marisa Ramirez), these investigators will go anywhere and do anything to uncover the unexplained, and try to find a solution to the coming "darkness"… before it's too late.
Did anyone watch?? It was on this past Monday @ 10. I actually liked it! What did you all think?

i've seen them both, and i am HOOKED!! the first one was pretty interesting, but last night's really had me creeped. i really don't watch much tv anymore - mostly just er, friends, and of course there's joe. but, this show has quickly turned into one of my "must sees" - my husband's too. i don't think i've ever seen that man up past 10 on a work night until last night!

Ratings dropped off 19% on this show for the second week. I don't think it's gonna last long, but it'll outlast Veritas.

I watched Monday...that was a spooky sad show. I've liked it both times I've seen it.

great! everytime i really get into a show, it's gone... this is why i rarely get into watching much tv. i've never even heard of "veritas"??? the only show that actually has me really hooked right now is er and joe, which will be over soon anyway. i was really digging this miracles thing. just another twin peaks. figures.

did anyone here even watch the show last monday??? these shows are so strange... i can't help but think early x-files with this. except, of course, no david duchovney...

i just really hope this show sticks around for awhile. i'm really curious where they're intending to take this.
