To me, it looked like the baby Izzy was working on, coded. I think she is going to lose more then one baby - with those health risks, the odds are not in their favor. ( but I hope I am wrong)
I liked the connection between Allison and Derek as they were in surgery. Looked to me, that neither of them were very sexually satisfied with their other partners.
I loved the look on Burke's face when he saw Cristina's apt. How about when she said she hired a maid once, but the maid left crying.
So, Alex and Izzy weren't destined to be a couple. I can live with that. He really blew it though.

I don't know wtf it is but Shepp doesn't seem to be 100% about addison yet her wont say anything, he just acts weirdly towards her. No matter how many times she acts if they're okay, they're not.
I hope Izzie tares alex a new one.

OK, now I can't help myself, I have to nitpick a little bit. I was going watching the surgery at the end of the show. I know it's just a TV show but no way would surgery interns be in charge of caring for premature quintuplets. Granted, some of the babies were going to need surgery but the surgeons can't operate on them until they have been stabilized and they do not attend the deliveries. It made sense for Izzy to be there since she's working with Addison, but it was basically just a C-section. There didn't seem to be any neonatal people in there, they keep calling Addison a "neonatal specialist" but she's really a high-risk OB doctor. I would also love to work in a hospital that has enough room in the OR suite for 5 infant warmers. The crowd of people in there was totally accurate though, and I loved how they stood in line and each caught a baby. It seemed almost choreographed and that's how it is, it's actually fun to be a part of that and I got a little bit of a rush watching it because I've done it before (only with triplets and a few quad deliveries though)... and also because it was just a TV show.. my shift at work would totally suck if I had to admit quintuplets.
Sorry to nitpick, but they were doing what I do for a living and I couldn't help putting in my 2 cents. That said, it was another great show!
Well, this has only been the second ep I have been able to watch this season, due to my inability to stay up after 10. But a lot of random thoughts were going thru my head, mainly catch up huhs? Please feel free to clarify if possible.
So Alex has syphillis and gave it to a random nurse, can't seem to get it up for Izzie and then cheats on her with said nurse, who might be dating George?
Burke and Christina have a "real" relationship. Burke is a neat freak at home, Christina leaves all her anal-ness at work, at home she is a slob. They may start living together. This relationship seemed to move very quickly to me, but again lots of eps missed.
George, still the sounding board-and not into Izzie, probably still into Meredith no matter what he says-I thought she was going to jump him at the breakfast table-wouldn't be upset to see a little bit of rebound sex with those two!
Meredith-turning into a slut to drown her sorrows, Shepherds finally have sex-"rocks" her world-his doesn't move? Still the most awkward coupling on the show. Nice to see her be a good doctor. Very likeable inside the OR-noticed Derek staring, probably thinking-why can't she be this attractive to me when we're in bed?
OK, done now. As I said, please feel free to correct me/clue me in.
Ok, it is kind of disturbing me a bit how the show seems to be punishing
the women for having/wanting sex. Christina sleeps with Burke and suffers an ectopic pregnancy. Meredith sleeps with a stranger who then shows up at the hospital she works at with priapism. All of her colleagues get to find this out, including her ex-flame (Speaking of which, when Dr. Sheppard found out that Mere met the guy at Joe's bar he said "I met a girl there once a long time ago." It came off as rather judgmental. Because, of course, when he met Mere & slept with her straight-away that was a-okay). Izzie wants to sleep with Alex - and tries to do so numerous times - and, bam, she walks in on him naked with the nurse.
Alex is a stupid, stupid man. Think with the other brain, idiot.
Burke is a lovely, lovely man. His apartment is very sterile, though. He probably could do surgery in it. Christina's apartment was just scary.
I hope the quints are okay.

I liked how in this episode George gave Meredith a piece of his mind when it came to the guys shes been sleeping with. It came off as someone who cared. I think she needed that. It might come off to Mere as someone watching out for her not George trying to get with her but I still liked it.
However I dont get how he turned down Izzie like that. Shes pretty hot and she was asking for it last night. I mean all he had to do was tell her not to tell anyone and Im sure she would have agreed. I mean she is single so I didnt see the problem.
