I had a hard time watching after that and then thinking I can totally see some story line where she just gives in and has children and realizes she really wanted them or something. I have made a conscious choice to not birth my own children. I totally agree with you on the rest of your post. Not all of us want children and some of us actually do choose to not have children.

It wasn't that good this week imho.

I don't like the crossover episodes because I don't watch Private Practice anymore.

I dont watch PP either.

I used to have issues with both shows, but now I prefer PP over GA. IMO it's a much better show and I can't wait to see it each week. I can't say that about GA. I still watch, but with the exception of Sandra OH, I'm not impressed with it the way I used to be.

I agree though - I hate those little inconsistencies - if they're going to have those characters be related, you have to at least mention them in certain instances. I can't believe they didn't call ANY of Amelia's family members for the intervention - they have other sisters and a mother too (Tyne Daly anyone?). Shonda drives me crazy when they do that.

I think they should have at least had Amelia meet & greet with Meredith - she is Derek's wife and Amelia was in Seattle! Where did she sleep? They could have expanded on her visit there.

I have come to terms with this myself... and I have come to realize that people who do not feel this way are pretty much unable to understand it.

I understand it. I know people who have never wanted kids. They love the kids in their family, but they do not want their own. I respect that.

What amazes me are the people who have kids, want kids, claim their kids are their top priority, but they don't honor it. They don't put the child first and in fact, do not really parent the child. It's sad when clueless people treat their kids no better than their pets. IMO some people are not equipped to parent kids. Often those same people aren't smart enought to recognize it.

I'm hoping he meant "cheated" in some other context. If not, I wonder who it was.

Loved the story line about Avery (what's his first name?) and his mom and her "spy," and the flirtation between the mom and Richard. Loved that Richard put the brakes on. That was a hot scene, however brief, between Avery and his mom's sidekick. Are interns really getting busy in those little rooms all over the hospital all the time?
