I agree - a friend and I said enough time has passed that they could re-cast Burke (since I'm guessing Isaiah Washington wouldn't come back). I loved Burke and Cristina together - they just "got" each other. I never felt the Owen/Cristina relationship.

Exactly!! As much as I LOVE this show, I hate how they forget things they've done. Like remember Burke's mother was supposed to own a restaurant....then she comes on the show and there is NO way that lady, with that personality, would have been like Burke had described her. I hate that!!

and FYI - Lifetime shows the repeats - but today was the pilot. So if you want, you can catch up because they do show them in order and they show all the way through Season 7. I love the early seasons.

sorry for the double post, but after watching the pilot (again, for like the 10th time), I came and read the first page of discussion about it. It's so funny to see people's reactions to the first few episodes. Funny how people had some of the characters pegged right away!

Was there a new episode last night? My DVR did not record anything but I wasn't sure if it's acting up or there just wasn't a new episode aired last night.

Personally I find these humane mouse traps rather ineffective. Better to lay down some glue and when you hear the critter scream you take a shovel to his head.

Last night was a repeat of the episode where they have been hit by a car while they are in a stalled ambulance, and get out of it and there are bodies lying in the road and they are trying to treat them, get them out of danger, etc. At the end Mer and Derek get their adopted baby back.

I'm really looking forward to next week's episode. I love the idea of seeing Meredith happy and Derek and Addison together, but maybe not so happy together. I still wish that George and Izzie were in the episode...at least as guest stars or cameos.

No! The show opened with the episode where the woman was having CPR performed, and she didn't make it; her daughter (?) was watching through the window when Meredith pronounced her.

Can't wait to see tomorrow's episode - I wonder if they will address that Callie actually slept with Alex (remember that?? that was in one of the other flashback episodes).

It should be fun to see Addison again too - they look miserable! McDreary!! and Lexi looks ... um ... weathered?
