Very disappointed with the season finale...and the whole season for that matter. Not every woman wants or should be a mother. The whole "you're not a woman unless you're a mother" idea is crap. I really, really hope Cristina goes ahead with the abortion. If Shonda wants to tackle a real life issue, tackle the pro-life/pro-choice message. However, I doubt it...Cristina will have the baby, give up her career and say "it's the best decision I ever made". Craptastic....

I am up in the air about the finale. I understand that Cristina doesn't want to be a mother and she tried to tell Owen that in typical Cristina way... but my confusion lies in if you didn't want to be a mother, why didn't you take precautions to make sure that didn't happen? So now she is faced with a baby that she doesn't want but it's called consequences. I think she should have allowed more conversation between her and Owen, since both of them have a voice in the outcome. The reason Owen is so upset is because she is making discounting his views on it without discussing it further. In a marriage there should be better communication. Cristina should be blaming herself for this. It could have easily been prevented. Birth control, condoms etc.

I haven't watched the show regularly in a long time. I loved it at first and then lost total intesest, but I want to like it. I did watch a portion of the show last night. Someone please tell me, who was the person laying on the ground at night time towards the end of the show and what was he doing? Thanks.

You're welcome. Sorry...I had to leave and didn't have the time to elaborate. Derek and Meredith had a disagreement and for all we know, the marriage is over. But probably not... He left and I guess decided to sleep at the construction site of their home that is being built. He had his sleeping bag laid out and for a moment, I thought he might change his mind and go back home but he ended up settling for the sleeping bag.

I pretty much agree with this but will take it even one step further. If Christina was that sure she'd never ever ever never want to have children, she could have take a more permanent route.

Over the years I have gone back and forth on how this character is written. I think Sandra Oh is a wonderful actress though

Well, short of abstinence, nothing is 100% effective. What I am wondering is if Christina and Owen had a discussion about children prior to getting married. If Christina never wants children and Owen does, well, then perhaps they shouldn't have gotten married in the first place. I understand Christina feeling that now is not the right time for her, in her opinion, to be having a child. She wants to get her career in full-swing. But does she ever want children? That's what I'd like to know b/c I don't remember her having this discussion with Owen. His throwing her out was kind of harsh, though.

I also thought they mentioned something along the lines of "wow, guess this is the kind of thing we should've talked about before".
