I agree Speedy. I loved the scene with George sandwiched between Izzie and Meredith when they got back from their disappointing dates. I don't want him to get involved with either one except as a dependable friend. George needs a new character as a love interest.

It was hilarious how many times people told Alex that Izzie had shaved her legs for him. It made shaving your legs sound like the ultimate sacrifice.

I find all the scenes with Meredith's mother hard to watch. They are well-written and well-acted but just so painful. I especially have a hard time when she turns on Meredith. Ellis telling the Chief that carrousels still make her uneasy was a nice touch to the story though.

One little quibble with last night's episode has to do with the thunder storm. Seattle certain does have thunder storms. However, we almost always have sheet lightning where the whole sky lights up as opposed to lightning bolts. The bolts made for better dramatic effect.

Great show! I loved that George got to prove himself as a fantastic Dr.. You could tell Dr Burke was really impressed.

    Seriously!

Shaving her legs was the equivalent of wearing a new matching Victoria's Secret outfit: sure sign she wanted some nookie.

I agree. I find it very difficult to enjoy sitting through those scenes; not because they aren't good, but because I feel like I'm peeking into someone's seriously private, private matters.

After hearing Dr. McDreamy’s speech about 11 birthdays, Thanksgivings and so on, I am flabbergasted. He was the one doing the pursuing; it was not the other way around. I clearly remember him saying to a reluctant and wary Meredith, “we sleep together every night, some people would call that a relationship”. Only a heartless jerk would encourage someone to fall in love with them, knowing they were “unavailable”. I don’t know what to make of this because Dr. McD doesn’t strike me as heartless.

NYGal, I think Dr. McD was in deep denial about the fact that he still had feelings for his wife (and the fact that he actually HAS a wife) all last season. He had literally and figuratively RUN AWAY from Addison as he left town and never told anyone about her for all of season one. He hasn't dealt with his anger about Addison cheating on him with his friend, hasn't dealt with his own guilt about just walking away from the marriage and not sticking around to sort it out, he just took a little mental vacation and hooked up with Meredith, but it was totally unfair of him to do that to her, as Meredith certainly didn't deserve that. I don't think it was "heartless" of him to do it, just thoughtless and selfish. Run away, Mere. Let Dr. McD figure out what he wants to be when he grows up, and if you're still available when he does, let him pursue you.

I found myself yelling at the screen the other night. I'm saying "Come one McDreamy! Choose Merideth. Show up at the bar. Come on. Please"

Unfortunately there are guys like this still out there dating! One of my friends was pushing a guy away but the guy persisted and when he "got" her to fall in love with him, then he was the one backing away. Similar situation here...I think he liked the chase and when he got her, the old I'm not available came out, or rather reality hits home (like Addison coming to find him). For Meredith, it was too late at that point, hence the "love me, pick me" speech.

In McDreamy's defence, divorce is the end, it is the death of a marriage. No matter how flawed that marriage is, the couple still owes it to themselves and eachother to make sure that this is absolutely what they want. IMO It is too easy to get married and divorced. Marriage is a serious commitment. I do. Forever. What Addison did was reprehensible, she should suffer, she has suffered. Like Broadway, I think it shows the character's character that he has put his rage aside and is really having a good look at things.
Addison said 'Did you ever stop to think your true love might be Satan?' Addison may very well be his true love, is he willing to take the chance that he is turning his back on that? He has to make sure that a divorce is absolutely what he wants. Idon't blame him one bit for having a clear vision think about the situtation.

... with that being said.. hubby knows if he ever cheats he will never take another breath

If you think about it....with a 11 year history how many of you would forgive a cheating spouse?

11 years is a long time.....but cheating? with your best friend? I'd go with a divorce. If the spouse can up right and cheat on me after that long of being together....something wasn't right to begin with. I'd suck it up after a lot of drinking and feeling sorry for myself and eventually move on. Once a cheater....always a cheater...they didn't come up with that saying for nothing.
