Ooops, McSteamy wasn't the husband in tonight's episode... I was all mixed up.

It shows what a good actress Ellen is that she said on Oprah that she hated that scene in which Meredith asked Shepard (Ellen used the word beg) to pick her over his wife. She was very convincing.

I think I read that: while they are planning to move GA to Thursday night, that may change.

My guess is that they are waiting on what viewers think. TPTB at ABC think the show is strong enough to go up against CSI, but it's not certain they will hold to the new time slot.

WOOHOOO.... Denny might be getting his own show!! And Shonda Rimes is well deservedly being given another pilot. Great news!

    READ HERE

    By Nellie Andreeva

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who had a recurring role as an ill-fated heart patient on "Grey's Anatomy," has been hired as a regular on a new ABC project from the creator of the network's hit medical drama.

The untitled Shonda Rhimes project, about a group of female journalists, has a pilot order.

On "Grey's," Morgan played heart patient Denny Duquette. Duquette, who was romantically linked to Izzie (Katherine Heigl), died in the series' recent second-season finale.

Additionally, Morgan has recurring roles on WB Network's series "Supernatural," on which he plays the ghostbusting father of series stars Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki, and on Showtime's comedy "Weeds," on which he plays star Mary Louise Parker's deceased husband, who appears in flashbacks and fantasy sequences.

hmmm he's a very busy man LOL
Good for Shonda!! According to her blogs she's crazy busy - I (selfishly) hope that this new show won't interfere with her work on Grey's and that the quality won't take a down turn.

I'm still liking this show though the McSlutty session between Meredith and married slimedoggie doc may have turned me permanently against them both. His wife deserves someone better than him and the vet deserves someone better than the nutcase chick with rounded heels.

I can't imagine that Izzie is actually going to be out of the intern program while remaining with the show, and if she leaves, a major part of why I watch will depart with her. I liked Denny but am not sorry he's gone. Izzie went overboard because of him, that had to be settled one way or another in order for her character to move forward.

The show is encroaching too far into the soap opera realm for my viewing satisfaction. Next season will determine whether its still worth following.

Moving a popular show sometimes has a way of killing it.
