Oh MAN..... wow... what an ending to an episode!

I'm actually surprised that tonight isn't the season ender, but that only bodes well for tomorrow night's 2 hour finale!

Izzy... Izzy... Izzy. She has potentially just lost everything.. her job, career, and her love.

It's actually her fault that Burke got shot too. He was coming back because of her.



It would be great for everyone she involved in her mess to die including supernatural dad, then maybe that would finally open her eyes.

I'm thinking this is a setup for her ass to be tossed out, but I suspect they'll need to keep her on the show for a while to wrap her story up. I'm forseeing the McDrunky crown being tossed from Meredith over to Izzie.

Aaaaaand... apparently this hospital only has one qualified Cardiothoracic surgeon.

And how stupid was Izzy to involve like... 4 accessories to her humongous breach of all medical ethics? Plus, she pulls a move on this Denny guy which makes needy whiny Meredith look mentally healthy and strong in comparison. That takes a lot of wacko power.

so that means that "Anatomy" will be schedule-skewed too (but at least that will make it easier if the presidential broadcasts end the same time on all of the nets and you are standing by to reset your TiVo/VCR setting by hand).

I loved the show tonight - I can't believe I am saying this, but I feel sorry for Addison finally learning that Derek is still in love with Meredith. Can't hardly believe that Ms Society would cause a scene like that in the hospital, but she was really hurt and angry.

I can not believe they would let Izzie continue at the hospital after that. She must be leaving, that is almost unbelievable. I don't even feel sorry for her if she is booted out of the surgical program. I really liked her, sorry she has turned out to be a loose cannon. Oh well, maybe George steps in and saves Denny.

I still am a fan of Dr Torres - I thought Callie was really trying, and felt so sorry for her when she blurted out that she loves George. He sure left her feeling flat, not a good sign. I guess she doen't mean as much to him as his "family" does. Hope they don't reschedule the show to another night - really want to see it finish up tomorrow!

Oy! izzie. So now Burke too may need a heart? That's the conclusion i came to. She really seems to have gone off the deep end.
As for Addi, im glad she spelled things out for Shepperd, someone needed to tell him off.
I also loved bailey tonight, though i hope she wasn't what set off that guy.

What an incredible show!!
Izzie's definitely gone over the line and into nutsville. I'm sure Denny will die which will be ok because he professed his love for her and is not scared to go into the light. It was very good to see that Izzie was afraid for herself being alone... not that Denny would just die.

Poor George, what bad news will come down on him for assisting even though he didn't know what Izzie was doing? Hopefully, McTorrid will keep him alive through the mess.

And we know that the brain dead girl has good organs to donate. Her heart was not a match for Denny,....but maybe it will be a match for BURKE! And wouldn't that be cool if the lady who was 2nd best with Burke fighting over that heart is the specialist who saves Burkes life!

And Addy definitely knows, as all we everyone else now, that McDreamy prefers Meredith. But I don't want them together. I want Meredith to be with the Vet. and McDreamy just to suffer for awhile.

Chrisine, upon seeing that Burke could possibly die, will find a newer softer side to herself.

I really don't know what else could go down. Maybe Burke or Denny will get a heart from one of the other people shot outside the emergency doors! Only other option I can figure out.

Who else isn't going to be able to take this show seriously if Izzie isn't fired? Heck, I think this whole arc looks fake if she doesn't have her license pulled as well. I certainly don't want to see some kind of fake-ass story where she rides off into the sunset to become a some kind of "happier" but less challenging doctor somewhere else.

That said, I still think there's a good ongoing story SEEING her deconstruction happen. You can get another season out of Katherine Heigel. Have her wind up working at that bar, still living in Meredith's house. Or maybe a bar job doesn't work if she's drunk off her ass.

So I guess that's that.

I am guessing Burke is not going to need a heart transplant for being shot. I might be wrong but I am pretty sure if Burke was shot in the heart there wouldn't be enough time to do a heart transplant to save him. I don't think the heart issue will affect Burke at all.

I knew that Izzie would eventually go off the deep end with the Denny situation. The fact that she invovled George without telling him upfront was pretty bad as well. I know George loves his family but hell if that family don't seem to poop on him at every opportunity they get.

I might be one of the few but I really hope Addison stays on the show, whether she and Derek breaks up or not. I know a lot of the female fans of the show love him but to be honest Derek's wishy washy act is getting tired. He deserves to end up with whiny, self-absorbed Meredith in misery.

Look forward to a great show tomorrow, after we put up with the dufus in the Whitehouse press conference.
