That's called a double standard. I know a lot of people who think that it's okay to live like that (a double standard). "I can be married and flirt with as many guys as I want but if I see him flirting with other girls, look out." And vice versa.

Speedy, we're both oddballs 'cause I've been saying that all along as well! Ditto on Callie--she's gorgeous and has quite the figure, too!

I find it hard to believe that no-one else in that room had any concern for the fetus and his/her survival, and that they didn't bother to have any discussions with the husband or parents of the mom when they saw how bad her situation was about what steps they wanted to take to save the baby (if there needed to be a tough choice made). Maybe Addison will make a compassionate doctor out of Alex after all, because if his patients are fetuses and newborns he won't have to worry about telling THEM the cold hard truth he seems to always want to share with his patients. Tell the baby all about it, baby won't be bothered. :)
I think Callie is very attractive, and she is right, George should stand up for her to his roommates / friends. Going into someone's apartment and having to deal with their roommates isn't easy - and why is there only one bathroom in this place, but yeah, it's his job to help ease the transition for her in that house. It was very junior high for Izzy and Mer to tease George about Callie and give her a hard time in the john. Good lord, get the hell out and let her have a little privacy next time if you don't enjoy watching. You're hogging the pot again - as would have been said in my house growing up, and timers set and people kicked out of the bathroom for loitering.
Did people actually SEE Callie in that scene? When they panned up her legs showing her sexy underwear...... smokin! Damn... girl crush material! :blush

Marleybone..... Callie apparently did wash her hands, but she had to do it in the kitchen sink because Izzy and Mer were hogging the sink area and Callie wanted to get out of there ASAP.
The other one-liner that I loved last night was Christina's when Alex walked into the room with the chatty pregnant woman. She told the woman that Alex was there to take care of her and he liked to talk "so chat away." Alex looked at her and said "not nice!" I was rolling. :rofl
Gaby, :up I really don't need to say much because you are right on.

Callie is sexy and curvy - she's all sass with George and her confidence shows.. when confronted with 'the girls' (they are almost doctors and acting like that for goodness sake!) she puts up with their crap so George won't have to choose.
"the girls" didn't SEE Callie wash her hands - she went down to the kitchen to do it. Meredith and Izzy's juvenile behaviour makes them look jealous. Things will come to a head though - I can't see strong, confident Callie putting up with crap much longer.
I like Addison, I've been a supporter of 'the marriage' from the time we learned about it. They are married - 'til death do us part. Derek and Addison owed it to each other to at least try to work things out. Meredith got hurt, now she's getting better and she seems happier and ready to take a chance on Finn. Derek has no right to call Meredith anything.. and 'friends' don't throw things back in your face that you tell them in confidence. He's a mess. And being a professional there is no way that he should have been treating her with contempt in the work environment - especially in front of a patient.
In the operating room I thought Addison looked unwillingly impressed that Alex took her speech to heart and acted on behalf of the fetus.
Addison couldn't leave in the middle of her surgery - she's a specialist, there is no way I would want my surgeon walking out on my major surgery especially to do a C section that was so 'routine' (I know there is no such thing as routine) that a doctor talked an intern through it. The patients we see are not the only ones the doctors are working on.
I felt so bad for Martin - the car crashing intern. My heart broke for him and the 'Hillbilly'family
Great post, Duxxy! I totally agree with you about Callie. LOVE HER. Hopefully she'll put the "children" back in their place sooner rather than later. Izzy & Meredith were unbearable with the handwashing last night. GROW UP!

Alex still maintained his jackass attitude despite saving the baby. "Yeah, the baby's fine, but has no mother"....he does always speak the truth, no matter how harsh it may be.
Denny's scenes were really moving too...he's tired of being trapped inside the body of a sick man....heartbreaking. But Izzy is really annoying when it comes to Denny.
Oh, and Christina & Burke....I can't help but feel there's some unfinished stuff going on there....she fell asleep during sex...he hasn't forgiven her...final scene: they're both tired.....now what?
Martin and Big Jim scene totally killed me....very touching. Very sad.
Another fantastic episode. Can't wait for the finale!
A couple things really got me last night. One, the husband talking about how he came home from college with this big-haired Southern wife and got teased about it and didn't care. And then him facing the reality that now he might have to bury her. Whoever played the husband really did a good job of making you feel the character's despair. Two, Big Jim's reaction to Martin's apology and Martin bawling as a result.
I do not think I have bawled that much in a long time! I TiVo the show and just watched it and the exchange between Big Jim and Martin was unreal! I saw the lightbulb come on for Merideth and George too, they saw a father forgive a man for killing his daughter and they realized they could forgive each other too. I am glad for George's parting "See you at home". I hope they can be friends again, but Callie is right, George does need to defend her.. or see ya! (Even if he is adorable, I miss the hair though)
