Izzy should really take herself off Denny's case... although that would be a major "step" in their relationship...a "we're not just joking around" step. And of course she couldn't justify spending time with him during her workday then.
I seem to recall he was only signed for a limited additional series of episodes... does anyone recall how many? Of course he was only supposed to be on for one episode originally and he got his "life" extended once, so maybe, cross my fingers, he will again. I fear not though, we seem to be heading towards a major crisis.
Remember when he went into earlier risky surgery? There was something about a letter for his lawyer... maybe he has left Izzy his fortune---big improvement over the trailer park life for her.
Would miss his charactor... they write such cute flirting for them.

I love the whole George - Callie relationship. She's such a sweetheart and I like that George has someone who is totally into him and doesn't just treat him like a puppy. But he still seems a bit hung-up on Meredith (the whole "I can't escape her" conversation with Izzie) and I hope that goes away quickly. Because Dr. Caliente is so much better than Meredith.

One of the most interesting things in the George / Callie relationship for me is the way that George doesn't seem to be able to figure out how to deal with someone being attracted to him. I don't think he was running from her for so long because he wasn't interested, or because he was so hung up on Meredith. I think that George is just one of those people who has always fallen in love with what he didn't / couldn't have, and is not the kind of guy who has ever really been actively persued. Now all the sudden, he's got this woman who thinks he's hot stuff, and he doesn't know how to respond to it.

BTW...(Mark) McSteamy was brough up in the very first knitting/bar episode, but we haven't seen him since the one episode he was in. Is he going to be making another appearance, or are we only going to hear about him from here on out?

He's rumored to be back for more episodes... and for next season, but who knows???

Considering that Addison was only supposed to be on for @ 6 episodes, I'd say "who knows?" is about right. The producers don't seem to have this all written in stone.

Is anyone else wondering why Callie is living in the hospital, and where exactly in the hospital is she living? Is she hiding this fact from everyone else that works in the hospital, and is her living there illegal?

Looks like the basement - seems strange to me. I like her a lot, but why doesn't she have a place like everyone else? Well, George is also without a place to live for the moment, so maybe they will go apt hunting together?

Seems like someone at the hospital would report it, or not allow it - but that is reality and TV shows have a license to do whatever.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who couldnt figure that out! I looked away for a 2nd and then George seemed to be going in some different door of the hospital following the ringtone. I thought maybe it was some kind of special on call room for supervisors of a certain level to live in... like residence assistants in college dorms or something. But I'd never heard of such a thing. Is she living in a steam pipe closet or something?

. And that George defended her beause when it comes down to it all, he really does love his friends. And playing the angry game just doesn't work in the long run. So McTorrid will help him with that as we've seen.

I too was questioning how OrthoDoc could live unsuspected in a hospital, but anything's possible. Her background is really unknown at this point, so it could prove to be very interesting if the writers show more of her character in upcoming shows.

There is A LOT about this show that relies on a suspension of reality. After all, Addison is supposed to be a gynecological surgeon, but any time that a baby is born with some sort of problem, she takes care of that too? What, the hospital employs no pediatric specialists? Even on ER, they'd send Doug in to take care of the newborn babies when there was a problem. Given the frequency that they engage in unrealisitic medical things on the show, it doesn't surprise me that they'd go with something unrealistic like "Resident lives in the hospital, and no one notices.
