Thanks cat, I guess they want to keep us in suspense over "did they or didn't they?" It sounds like Meredith didn't go through with it and that's why George is upset. She probably wised up and told him she only saw him as a friend.

Edit: Um, I guess they did after all. And it obviously didn't go too well.

BTW, see this is what I was talking about earlier upthread about them not respecting George. He just fell down the stairs, could be hurt, and Alex laughs and the girls just stand there gawking. Nobody is rushing to see if he broke anything. I'm fed up with these women!!

My final thoughts:

Meredith and Derek are heading into dark territory. Nothing good can come from their "friendship"

George and busty doctor may be the start of a new couple. I like it.

George living with Christina and Burke - that's going to be funny for like two seconds until Christina eventually throws him out.

Izzie / Denny / Alex triangle - can't wait to see how that goes.

I wish she was a regular in the cast.

This episode, surprisingly, was enjoyable. I thought I wouldn't like it but it was just the right mix of hilarity and drama. (It was so heartbreaking watching Meredith bawl. )

Oh, and Dr. Bailey "lactating"...A+

I agree with everything people have been saying and especially about George narrating at the end being a wonderful touch that sets this show apart. I wanted to hunt down and kill that woman who just decided she was too weak to stick with her fiance. And, his reaction? Oy, that was painful to watch. "She left?"

I agree, really painful. That poor guy. It was like she just wanted the perfect wedding, not the guy. At least she knew herself....
Did anyone else get a little nervous when Alex requested to use the paddles on Denny? And that was before he'd been lectured that Izzie would never forgive him for cheating, never see him the same way... and what a contrast his scuzzy behavior was to Denny's.
