It begins with two men kayaking on the Hudson River and finding a cooler containing the remains of a month-old baby girl. Clues found at the scene lead Stabler and Benson to a nearby college and the suspicion that one of the students may have killed her child. But the case becomes far more complicated when it's learned that the infant had a fatal genetic disorder, which prompts the detectives to question her doctor (Hirsch). Donna Emmett: Viola Davis.
