Re: The Office on NBC

I am way too curious about the unexpected inconvenience. And pretty much anything Jim/Pam related, now that Jim has the ring.

What was up with Ryan warning Jim? Kind of nervous about that one!

That kind of bugged me too. It made no sense, since Ryan never sold anything. I did read on the Office site that someone is leaving, but I don't believe it is Jim.

Re: The Office on NBC

It was probably because Jim had talked to Wallace (Ryan's boss) about Ryan's work (the website). So he was pulling rank on Jim. A little tit for tat. (Jim even mentioned that as the likely reason). Jim did look nervous. Co-viewer remarked that it is true enough that Jim spends a lot of time slacking off, at reception etc. so Ryan's remarks were not really out of line (not that I think Jim is going anywhere).

I had a pair of glasses like Pam when I was a kid.

Since Toby was in the room at the time, my guess is that Toby had his hand in this as well. Toby (as well as Ryan) definitely doesn't like the fact that Pam and Jim are together, so maybe he was "helping" Ryan along a little.

I couldn't help but laugh too when Jim was "proposing" that Pam get him a cup of coffee, lol!

Re: The Office on NBC

I can barely handle Stanley on a good day and while I realize it was part of the plot he sure came off as a jerk. Not one of my favorite episodes, but several good scenes particularly how Michael reacted to Pam's glasses. I forget, did he call her an ugly scientist?! Also loved his Dangerfield jokes at the end.

Re: The Office on NBC

I really love Stanley, he makes me laugh.

The only thing I did not like about this episode...no tickling. I thought for sure when Michael asked everyone to leave the room, that he would tickle Stanley.

Yeah, I don't understand why that didn't happen either.
