    Alias, 01/26 - "Phase One" (Post-Super Bowl @ 10:30ET)

    Phase One
    60 min.

Rutger Hauer guest stars as the one man who could sack the Bristows in this pivotal post-Super Bowl episode.

Hauer plays Geiger, a shadowy agent who takes over SD-6 after Sloane (Ron Rifkin) suddenly goes missing. And that means nothing but trouble for our heroes, says producer Bob Orci. “[Geiger] doesn't have the love that Sloane has for Sydney or Jack,” Orci explains. “He's outright suspicious [of them] from the minute he arrives.” However, Geiger may have bigger fish to fry after Vaughn (Michael Vartan) receives priceless intel on members of the Alliance from a very mysterious source. And speaking of mysteries, who's that kissing Francie? And where exactly did Sloane go?

I've always liked Ruter Hauer, he's a bit of an oddball, but he usually plays bad guys with such intensity, it'll be a great show I think.

That's sort of the point, with it being post-superbowl. Also the point of it being a two-parter (I assume).

    same here,

    1. I haven't watched a super bowl in years, usually a blow out.

    2. 3:45am comes way too early for me, so I watch every show that comes on after 8pm, the next day, thats why I'm so late to get into some of the threads

Well, since you're also gonna be taping, I have some advise. I tried to tape Alias once when it was moved to another time. Well, it started later, so I didn't get the whole episode. It was the one when Sydney finds out she was a testing subject for Project Xmas. Be sure to set your tape a little longer than Alias is scheduled...who knows if the Superbowl will go overtime or something?! Just wanted to tell ya, so that you didn't miss anything like I did!

Definitely, if you're trying to tape Alias, I'd go with 15 minutes earlier than planned, and at least an hour later, just in case. In fact, set it for several hours, and you can see Jimmy Kimmel's new live late-night show premiere
