The keyboard strokes was the only way they found out Sloane wrote the part that stated Jack and Syd were double-agents. However, that part was deleted before Sloane sent it to whoever it was going to. That was part of Sloane's plan. He knew someone would check the keyboard strokes. That's just what I think.
