Last night I saw the real woman on whose life this is based interviewed. She basically said that while some of it was made up, the wierd things that happened were all real, including the relationship with her husband.
She said the only thing that differed was that the character received most of her visions in dreams while the real person got them most while awake.
She has worked for the Maricopa County (Phoenix) DA's office. Definitely an interesting woman.

I enjoyed the show last night. I enjoy these types of shows. I used to love Profiler even though she wasn't a true medium.
I left here and decided to check out the transcripts from the Larry King Live show. Coincidentally he had a show in psychic detectives. I haven't read it yet, I thought I'd share.

I also liked Medium. I think a lot of it had to do with how pleasant a character Patricia Arquette played; she was very appealing and subtle and while I've never been a huge fan, I'll tune in because she's doing a great job. I'm just thrilled that I actually have something to watch on Mondays now! :lol

Yes, I'll be adding it to my viewing roster as well.

It was kinda like watching a movie, but too short. I am sure they could have made it into a movie. Weird that it's based on a real person.
Can't wait til Thursday either.

VanJ it's better this way - we get way more than 2 hours of it.. we get 24 (episodes)

Just watched it. Excellente'! Consider me reeled in for the long haul.

Loved it, and Patricia Arquette plays it so low key. I'm hooked.
