He worked in and was very active in theater, so I think that stereotypes led to a lot of those rumors.
Right, Koo Stark, I think her name was. Saw it repeatedly on the Star and Nat. Inquirer covers at the supermarket. I'd not heard rumors about Andrew being gay before, but certainly plenty about Edward--and obviously for either marriage doesn't really answer the question. If they are feel very sorry for them. And their wives. And kids.

As far as 'scandals' in the palace go … gay or not, dating porn stars or not … I think what Fergie did was far worst than anything Andrew or Edward has done. "Offering access to Prince Andrew for a fee" … hmm,

Personally I think the royals do far worse on a daily basis. Anyone who has a servant squeeze their toothpaste should not cast stones. And that is only one of the ridiculous things these self absorbed people require of others. They are arrogant with an inflated sense of importance. Many British "subjects," as the queen calls them, want to get rid of the monarchy. They are not revered by all.

Sorry for my mistake above. I said Edward when it should have been Andrew.

Apparently, Maria will be a guest on Oprah's last show, from what I just heard.

Is anyone else bored with the two-part interview with the author, and confused as to why this should still be such a big issue for her as to rate a two-parter in the last segment of shows? I think the only person who is really interested in this is her, so why doesn't she just call him on the phone or invite him to her hosue and talk about it to her heart's content? There are so many other more interesting guests and subjects that she could be covering now that the shows have dwindled down to a precious few left.

I cannot see Oprah airing a scandal with a close friend to end her show. I think it will be a very upbeat finish. Probably self promoting but I really do not fault her for that. I have mixed feelings about her. I DVR every show but watch about 10 percent.

Just because Maria will be on doesn't mean that there will be an scandal-airing, though. They are just long-time, dear friends.

The scandal has hit the airways and impossible to avoid. I really dont think she will have a celebrity guest as the last show. It has to be something to punctuate her life on this show.
