i am still pissed the show is ending. and yes i believe it is 2 hrs, trying to do everything at one.
How will it end: empty chairs at the balcony.
this show didn't have to end.

I'm very sad at the show ending, also. We've been watching some recorded shows from November. We know the "end" is near, but don't talk about it much...
I have to say that my appreciation for John Laroquette (sp?) has gone up tremendously this year. He is truly a gifted actor.
My older bro turned us on to this show. I was standing at the entrance to a mall in Florida, and he raved about my Captain Kirk... And we started watching. Then, ordered the prior year DVD's.
I'm really bummed that I can't see my Shatner and Spader...
I would love to see Spader and Shatner do another spin-off with just them. Perhaps opening their own firm. Crane & Shore.

I was completely satisfied with the ending of the show. Just enough laughs and seriousness to follow up the five seasons of great entertainment. And they left the door open for a spin off with Allen and Denny. The critics were always calling them one of the best couples on tv, so why not let them get married?![]()

I love David E Kelly and all the shows he has produced/written. I am very disappointed that ABC let this one go - I loved that David had the chance to get a few digs in regarding the demographics in the last episode when Betty White's character sued.... I am happy in the way that this show ended. All loose ends were wrapped nicely, it was amoment.
I look forward to the reruns, although we do have most of the seasons on DVD. Adieu

Good ending episodes, but I'm hoping that there will be a "save this show" campaign like with other shows.
Surely NBC needs a show with a built-in audience, seeing as they cancelled all their new shows and have surrrendering the 10PM slot to the irritating Jay Leno?

Hey, ABC picked up Scrubs so why can't another station pick up BL? I personally was slightly disappointed in the ending. I felt like they should've just ended it with the Chinese Shore and Crane on the balcony.

I just watched the episode on my DVR and I think it was a great way to end the show--especially with Allen and Denny getting married. They really were one of my dream couples. I also loved some of the digs they were able to get in near the end. While I wouldn't mind a spinoff with Allen and Denny, I would love it more if some network saved it, since it is a big mistake to let it go.
I still don't understand why they let the show go. There are no reports of teh actors wanted to leave the show.
There are still many storylines that can be developped, many issues to address.
and i agree 10pm slot to jay leno? are you kidding me?
i hope NBC picks it up
I think I read that they were not attracting the "it" crowd. The viewers were more mature rather then younger (the "it" desired demographics).Originally Posted by jacobson00;3248558;
I recently read that NCIS which appears in top 10 every week, is not pulling in the desired demographics and they may have a spin off to attract much younger viewers. They are still keeping NCIS of course, but the spinoff just shows you the obsession TV networks have. Kelly played off that obsession with demographics when Betty White's character sued the Networks on a previous Boston Legal.
