    Tonight's show is new.
    Here is the synopsis:
    Title: Tea and Sympathy
    Synopsis: Denny lusts after Judge Weldon (Gail O'Grady) when Alan defends her in a drug case; a sorority girl's expulsion pits Clarence against Jerry; Brad expresses a desire for a military wedding.
    Hurley: (holding up a Jesus statue) I don't know. I thought there might be a prowler or something.
    Mrs. Reyes: (grabbing the statue) Jesus Christ is not a weapon! - LOST "There's No Place Like Home Pt. 1

    Re: Boston Legal

    Tonight had Judge Jibber Jabber. And Denny shooting a gun. Ergo... comedy gold.

    Even Mark Valley, who frequently bores me to tears, was "on" tonight. They played the right angle of him being an ultra-conservative guy who couldn't stand the idea of a "bastard" kid. And I give the show credit for not going overboard with the "BirthZilla" thing most shows do with deliveries. Yes, some was required, but they had the wisdom to skip some of the more hackneyed variations, like Denise decking someone or making a comment where she asks Brad to shove a bowling ball up his backside.

    The Duck plot didn't really do it for me though, except for Denny's part in it.

    The Priest/Immigration was okay as the "serious court plot". Gave Alan the chance to do one of his better rah-rah sappy emotional speeches. I'm glad they let Alan lose this one too. It made it more realistic and poignant.

    The Stanley Cup thing was a bit over the top for me though. Even for this show.

    Denny Crane bobblehead! I want one!!!

    {Wait. I know they don't have him do it that often anymore, but I feel one erupting... after all we got one tonight on the show...}

    Denny Crane!

    Next week: the Oddball Lawyer Squad of Clarence and Jerry! More comedy gold I think!

    DVR was full and didn't record this show, and of course this is the only major show on ABC that is not shown on their site. Actually going to have to look for it in re-runs (how archaic - do they still do that?).
