Bierko was much funnier and outrageous than boring old Mark Valley. I'm thinking the only reason Valley is still around is a.) maybe he works cheap and with the big names on this show they need to save some cash b.) they figure they need a straightman around, and Rene Auberjonois can't always be it.

Dogg, I agree. It doesn't have the luster it had in the beginning. Last night I found myself wanting Alan to just deck Jerry. The new Jerry was just so irritating. So much so, I wanted to reach through the screen and punch him myself.

It's nice to finally see them lose a case.

I love this show still. I get a kick out of how mad Alan gets at Jerry for doing the same dramatics that Alan does. Now the first time Alan saw the "new" Jerry I was ashamed of how he treated him. I couldn't believe he would treat him like that. I think Alan needs Jerry as a charity case and doesn't like Jerry self confidant.

I LOVE DENNY KRANE!!!! "You don't talk like you're black." Only Denny would be so stupid as to make a comment like that and yet I can't even get mad at him about it because, you know, its the mad cow. LOL!

Now I can't stand the blondie and captian america getting together. I think Shirley hit the nail on the head when she said blondie didn't love him. If she really truely had deep enough love for him to marry him she wouldn't have been sleeping with the other guy at the same time. I would like to see them not together but trying to raise the child together. They do have a good relationship as far as having respect for each other but they don't have a deep love. If this was real life they would divorce as soon as they had their first disagreement because they're both to stubborn to bend. JMHO

To give him some credit even Denny had to be pushed into it....think that was a really good discussion, and related to the "who has the right to say the N word" kind of thing that's been going on on other threads.
I agree, I was shocked at Alan's treatment of his friend in the earlier episode. Ugh.
