| It is so great to have folks to talk to about Buffy!!! I have to admit that I don't always *get* the subtle nuances that everyone talks about (head hangs in shame).. I just LOVE all things Buffy. I'm a major t.v. addict, I love my t.v., I'm addicted to my shows (thank heavens for my cable DVR, I can watch hours of shows during a few sleepless nights!) - but no show, no cast of characters, has affected me the way Buffy did, and continues to. I have lots of comments based on what others have said - but my computer is acting up and I can't copy (and then credit) who said what...but here goes... To the person who said they loved Buffy's speech to Jonathan - I so agree! The writing in that one, little speech was so terrific. I quote that all the time to my 13-year old daughter, now in the midst of teenage angst. Snoopyfan created this thread, not me. But I'm so glad they did! ![]() I loved many seasons of the X-Files (LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Mulder and Scully and my favorite episodes were usually about monsters and not the ongoing Alien saga) but NO WAY was it better than Buffy (although I admit to a few episodes being very close). Thanks (emma) for the show titles I couldn't remember. As soon as you posted them, I thought "I know those!" but couldn't recall at the time. So here's a new topic - who were your favorite Buffy characters???? Hard to number them, isn't it? Mine are all tied! Here's mine... 1. Spike 2. Buffy 3. Oz/Giles 4. Willow/Xander/Anya 5. Angel 6. Tara/Joyce/Riley (Riley before he knew Buffy was the Slayer) 7. Jonathan/Andrew/Warren (before he become psycho) 8. Dawn I'm sure I'll change my mind the next episode I watch! Did I forget anyone? |

| Dru on Lifetime I was flipping thru the channels yesterday and came upon this movie on Lifetime and Juliet Landau, who played Drusilla, was on it. When I heard her talk I almost fell out of my chair. I know that her and James weren't English but to hear her speak.......it didn't even sound like it could be her voice. It was so weird. Sorry, had to share.

| What was the movie? I didn't realize she wasn't British. I know she's Martin Landau's daughter (isn't he British? Oh well, I must not have been a Buffy Elder either). p.s. this is cadcmmngs, using weathergirl's account... |

| Loved both shows... Buffy and Angel. Its character brought much to the show. Sad to see the shows end. But, I do think its better to go out when its good then watching a favorite show tank. I bought the DVD collection of Buffy, but never watched it. Saving it for a rainy day.

Heck if I know if she is British or not. Her voice was soooo different though. I had to look at her for a bit cuz it just seemed weird. I just looked up the title and I think it was Fatal Reunion. And stop using different names.....you're confusing me. Oh, and you haven't written back. Shame on you!!!!!

Which season did you buy? I bought 3 seasons of Buffy, but have yet to view a single one. Promised, swore, pledged to my husband that I'd watch them while working out on the treadmill. Haven't touched that yet either! I also liked Angel, but some seasons it really wore me down and I was less interested in it. Until Spike came on, of course. Sigh, what a good season that was. Quote:
She probably isn't British. But she sure sounded like it. I'll have to see if it's replaying anytime. It's always fun to watch someone I've only see on one of my favorite shows (Buffy, in this case) and see them in an entirely different light. I can't wait for the show James Marsters is starring in on USA Network. It's not being promoted at all (someone on another thread mentioned it) but it's in a good time spot, and looks good. I'll be watching. And I just wrote back, sassywoman. ![]()

Hey, I checked the Lifetime channel and Fatal Reunion will be on again tonight (March 15th) at 6PM central. And I guess she isn't English. She was born in LA but her parents moved to London when she was a child and she studied there until she was 18 before moving back to the states. So I guess she DOES have a British accent.

My treadmill is used as a clothes hanger.... When I did use my treadmill, I used to watch the "food network" I don't recommend that... it was torture. I bought the entire DVD collection. I just had had had had to have them. I was going through such withdrawl with the cancellation. I did the same with Felicity. Never watched that either. While I wanted to buy the DVD collection for Angel... I've opted not to....

What a nice, large place to hang your clothing! And I can't imagine working out while the Food Network is blaring in the background. Although I can't imagine working out...ever!GOOD FOR YOU to buy the entire DVD collection! I'm jealous, but then again, it gives my husband something to buy me each Christmas and birthday for the next couple of years. I found Season One at Amazon for $14.99. Had to buy it immediately, of course. I even dream about the show sometimes! I really miss it (and Spike). I find that even though I have a few of the seasons on DVD, I watch it on FX almost every day and never open the DVD.

Sure and the treadmill looks great in my closet. I'm glad I have the collection. I'm just waiting for a nice rainy day to stay comfy in my bed and watch the entire collection. I miss the show as well and especially miss those lovely blue eyes of Spike. I too watch it daily on FX... probably why I've not watch my DVD set... no need when we have re-runs. ![]()
