I miss Buffy so much....Once Buffy was gone I jumped to Angel, but it just wasn't the same...

I still watch all of the re-runs, and ran out and bought the Say It Once More With Feeling Soundtrack, me and my 5-year old daughter sing it all the time...I mute out when Spike says: "I wish that B*tch would die"...But other than that my daughter thinks it is hilarious, and fun to sing to...But she has never watched the show, except I let her watch the musical episode...She is way too young to watch the show...

I too, hated the reaction to Anya's death...Nobody mourned her at all, seemed so cold...

My old time favorite Spike quote has got to be...........

"I may be love's b*tch, but at least I'm man enough to admit it."

I also LOVED the relationship between Spike and Buffy. I was rooting and cheering when they kissed during the musical episode.

And I let my kids watch that one, too (muting out that B-word, too - although when he follows it with "I better see if I help her out.." (or something) was great! The musical episode was my FAVORITE...followed closely by (don't know the episode names)

1) willow's wishes become reality and spike and buffy get engaged
2) willow uses the "forget" spell and everyone forgets who they are
3) HUSH (I know that one!)

Plus others I simply can't think of right now.

What are everyone else's favorite episodes??

One of my favorites is the one that in the end Spike is going to kill Buffy with a shotgun, but once he gets there and she is crying he comforts her...That makes me tingle...

Other favorites:

1. Buffy is invisible
2. Evil Willow vs. Buffy
3. Anya goes bad again, and Anya vs. Buffy
4. And of course the musical......

Oh, how I miss BtVS!!!

My favorite eps:
THE GIFT - I had never been on any of the chat rooms or discussion threads before this episode, so when Buffy went over the edge and saved the world (again), I thought this REALLY was the end of Buffy. I was blindsighted! Plus, when I tried to go online, the Buffy site on the WB was all jammed up! So it was 2-3 days before I got the whole story about Buffy moving to UPN and that it wasn't (quite) over yet!
CHOSEN - Spike dies...I cry like a baby....
EARSHOT - I love Buffy's entire speech to Jonathan (part of it is in my signature)
OMWF - Musical episode - I have the original DVD sent out with Variety Magazine for Emmy consideration, plus the musical on Season 7 boxed set, plus the official soundtrack, plus my badly dubbed-from-TV-soundtrack... I know all the words by heart and can "see" the episode in my mind while they are singing!

Favorite Character - Spike, of course!

Any Buffy Fans still out there???????
I need to "talk Buffy!"

Once Angel was cancelled, I started watching Charmed. It's not Buffy, but it's a really, fun show.

You'd be surprised--or maybe not. There are legions of us older, and, ahem, VERY INTELLIGENT Buffy (and Spike!!) devotees--whole communities online, scholarly volumes and entire academic conferences devoted the show. And it's a diverse group--lots of women, but not only, by any means. And tri-generational families of Buffy Watchers (excuse the obvious pun) too--grandmoms, moms, daughters--and couples!! In fact in the best-selling literary novel "The Jane Austen Book Club" a mom and daughter in the titular club are co-Buffy fans and even when they are having rough times individually or in their own relationship, speak on the telepone every Tuesday night right after the show to discuss the latest developments for their beloved characters(Sob!! Those were the days....Buffylessness has left a whole in our lives!!)

Personally, I think it's the best series, on a consistent basis, ever on TV, and that Joss Wheedon is a genius.

Just FYI, the titles of the two episodes you describe above are:

1) Something Blue
2) Tabula Rasa

I really went overboard buffy-wise as you can see.

There IS no show greater than Buffy!

Caught the ep this morning where Joyce finds the two "dead kids" (who are really a demon in disquise) and the entire town goes out-of-control with their witchhunt. My hubbie doesn't GET the metaphors that are all over the place in BtVS - I try to explain, but all is lost on him... grrrrrr

Back when Buffy was on UPN, you could usually catch "grown-ups" in the UPN BuffyChat during and right after the show (b/c other times, it housed teens and tweens looking to score a boyfriend/girlfriend! *eyes rolling*). One time, there was this guy who could site all of these parallels between Buffy and Shakespeare's works. It was really cool - unfortunately, (and-my-English-teacher-Mom-would-be-appalled), I didn't remember my Shakespeare well enough to participate as much as I wanted to!!!

Made a quick gif last nite... Snag if you want!
